O Lord, I have heard your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.

Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks shall again pass under the hands of him who counts them,’ says the Lord.

Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”

Restore us, O God of our salvation, And cause Your anger toward us to cease.

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the Lord of hosts, The Holy Mountain.’“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age.The streets of the city Shall be full of boys and girls Playing in its streets.’“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, Will it also be marvelous in My eyes?’ Says the Lord of hosts.

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Again there shall be heard in this place— of which you say,“ It is desolate, without man and without beast”— in the cities of Judah, in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,

“ Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the Lord, As in the days of old, As in former years.

then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.

Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ They shall again use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I bring back their captivity:‘ The Lord bless you, O home of justice, and mountain of holiness!’And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all its cities together, farmers and those going out with flocks.For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them: I will increase their men like a flock.
