Now they grope through the streets as if they were blind. They are so defiled with blood that no one dares to touch their garments.

Now those prophets and priests have to feel their way along the streets as if they were blind. The blood of those they killed has made them“ unclean.” So no one dares to touch their clothes.

在你衣襟上又發現無辜窮人的血，並且你不是發現他們在挖窟窿時殺他們的。雖然這樣，

所以你們張開雙手的時候，我必掩眼不看你們；即使你們多多禱告，我也不聽；你們的手都沾滿血腥。

耶和華必用癲狂、眼瞎、心亂打擊你；你必在中午的時候摸索，好像瞎子在黑暗中摸索一樣；你的道路必不亨通；你必日日受欺壓、被搶奪，沒有人拯救你。

在田間摸了被刀殺死的，或是自己死的屍體，或是人的骨頭，或是墳墓，就必不潔淨七天。

他的守望者都是瞎眼的，都沒有知識；他們都是啞巴狗，不能吠；只會作夢、躺臥，貪愛睡覺。

因此你們只有黑夜，沒有異象，只有黑暗，沒有默示。對先知，日頭要下落，為他們，白日變為黑暗。先見必抱愧，得默示的人要蒙羞；他們都必掩著上唇，因為沒有神的答覆。

這樣，你們就沒有玷污你們所在之地，因為血能玷污地；在地上如果有流人血的，除非流那故意殺人者的血，那地的血就不能得贖。

由得他們吧！他們是瞎眼的，卻作了嚮導；如果瞎子領瞎子，二人都會跌進坑裡。”

他們的心思昏昧，因為自己無知，心裡剛硬，就與神所賜的生命隔絕了。

因為耶和華把沉睡的靈，傾倒在你們身上；他緊閉你們的眼，就是先知；蒙蓋你們的頭，就是先見。對你們來說，整個異象就像密封的書卷的話，人把這書卷交給識字的，說：“請念吧！”他必回答：“我不能念，因為它是密封的。”人又把這書卷交給不識字的人，說：“請念吧！”他必回答：“我不識字。”

因此，公平遠離我們，公義趕不上我們，我們指望亮光，不料，卻是黑暗。我們指望光明，卻行在幽暗中！我們摸索牆壁，好像瞎子一樣；我們摸索，如同沒有眼睛的人一般；我們在中午跌倒，有如在黃昏跌倒一樣；我們在肥壯的人中，好像死人一般。我們都咆哮如熊，悲鳴像鴿子；我們等候公平，卻沒有公平；指望拯救，拯救卻離我們很遠。

只有起假誓、撒謊、殘殺、偷盜、姦淫、行強暴，以至流人血事件相繼而來。
