But here is something else I remember. And it gives me hope.

我想起这事，心里就有指望。

Israel, put your hope in the Lord, because the Lord’ s love never fails. He sets his people completely free.

The message I give you waits for the time I have appointed. It speaks about what is going to happen. And all of it will come true. It might take a while. But wait for it. You can be sure it will come. It will happen when I want it to.

“ Will the Lord turn away from us forever? Won’t he ever show us his kindness again?Has his faithful love disappeared forever? Has his promise failed for all time?Has God forgotten to help us? Has he held back his tender love because he was angry?”Then I thought,“ Here is what gives me hope. For many years the Most High God showed how powerful he is.Lord, I will remember what you did. Yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.

I say to myself,“ The Lord is everything I will ever need. So I will put my hope in him.”The Lord is good to those who put their hope in him. He is good to those who look to him.It is good when people wait quietly for the Lord to save them.It is good for a man to carry a heavy load of suffering while he is young.Let him sit alone and not say anything. The Lord has placed that load on him.Let him bury his face in the dust. There might still be hope for him.

I deeply long for you to save me. I have put my hope in your word.
