The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has given the walls of her palaces into the hands of the enemy; they have raised a shout in the house of the Lord as on the day of an appointed festival.

The Lord deserted his altar. He left his temple. He gave the walls of Jerusalem’s palaces into the hands of her enemies. They shouted loudly in the house of the Lord. You would have thought it was the day of an appointed feast.

The Lord has scorned his altar, disowned his sanctuary; he has delivered into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they raised a clamor in the house of the Lord as on the day of festival.

The Lord has rejected his own altar; he despises his own sanctuary. He has given Jerusalem’s palaces to her enemies. They shout in the Lord’s Temple as though it were a day of celebration.

求你举步到那长久荒凉之地——在圣所中，仇敌已经做了一切恶事。你的敌人在你的会所中吼叫，设立了自己的标帜为记号；他们像是在树林中挥斧头的人；而现在，他们用斧子和锤子，把圣所的雕刻全都击碎了。他们放火把你的圣所烧成平地，亵渎了你名的住所。他们心里说：“我们要彻底制伏这些人！”他们在地上焚烧了神一切的会所。

神听了就动怒，极其厌弃以色列。以致他撇弃示罗的住所，就是他在人间安居的帐篷。他又把象征他权能的约柜给人掳去，把他的荣耀交在敌人的手中，

并且推出假见证人说：“这个人不断地说亵渎神的话语，反对这圣所和律法。我们曾听到他说，这个拿撒勒人耶稣要拆毁这地方，也要改变摩西传给我们的规矩。”

耶稣回应说：“你们不是看见了这一切吗？我确实地告诉你们：这里将绝不会有一块石头留在另一块石头上而不被拆下。”

愿他为子民中的困苦人施行审判，拯救贫穷人的儿女，压碎那欺压者。人们必敬畏你，如日之恒，如月之久，直到万代。他必降临，如同雨水降在割过的草地上，又如细雨滋润大地。在他的日子里，义人必兴盛，并有丰盛的平安，如月长存。愿他施行管辖，从这海直到那海，从大河直到地极。旷野的走兽将在他面前屈身，他的仇敌将舔食尘土。塔尔施和众海岛的君王们将带来贡物，示巴和西拔的君王们将献上礼物。所有的君王都要向他下拜，所有的国家都要服事他。他解救那呼救的贫穷人，以及那无人帮助的困苦人；他顾惜贫弱者和穷人，拯救穷人的性命；他从欺压和残暴中赎回他们的性命，他们的血在他眼中看为宝贵。愿他长寿！愿人把示巴的金子献给他；愿人一直为他祷告，终日祝福他。愿五谷在大地、在群山的顶上丰盛；愿它们的果实晃动，如同黎巴嫩的香柏树；愿城中人丁兴旺，如同地上的牧草。愿他的名存到永远，如太阳长久；愿人们因他蒙福，愿所有的国家都称他有福。耶和华神——独行奇事的以色列的神，是当受颂赞的！他荣耀的名是当受颂赞的，直到永远；愿他的荣耀充满全地！阿们，阿们！耶西的儿子大卫的祷告结束。

你的圣城变成了旷野，锡安变成了旷野，耶路撒冷变成了荒凉之地。我们圣洁、荣美的殿，就是我们祖先赞美你的地方，已经被火烧毁了，我们所珍爱的一切都成了废墟。
