He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The Lord has made Zion forget her appointed festivals and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.

The Lord’ s temple was like a garden. But he completely destroyed it. He destroyed the place where he used to meet with his people. He made Zion’s people forget their appointed feasts and Sabbath days. When he was very angry, he turned his back on king and priest alike.

He has laid waste his booth like a garden, laid in ruins his meeting place; the Lord has made Zion forget festival and Sabbath, and in his fierce indignation has spurned king and priest.

He has broken down his Temple as though it were merely a garden shelter. The Lord has blotted out all memory of the holy festivals and Sabbath days. Kings and priests fall together before his fierce anger.

He has wrecked his temple as if it were merely a shack in a field, destroying his place of meeting. The LORD has abolished appointed festivals and Sabbaths in Zion. He has despised king and priest in his fierce anger.

And He has treated His tabernacle violently, like a despised garden; He has destroyed His appointed meeting place. The Lord has caused The appointed feast and Sabbath in Zion to be forgotten, And He has despised king and priest In the indignation of His anger.

He has done violence to His tabernacle, As if it were a garden; He has destroyed His place of assembly; The Lord has caused The appointed feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion. In His burning indignation He has spurned the king and the priest.

And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden; he hath destroyed his place of assembly: Jehovah hath caused solemn assembly and sabbath to be forgotten in Zion, And hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

He has done violence to His temple as if it were a garden booth, destroying His place of meeting. The Lord has abolished appointed festivals and Sabbaths in Zion. He has despised king and priest in His fierce anger.

And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as[ if it were of] a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

He destroyed his temple as if it were a vineyard; he destroyed his appointed meeting place. The Lord has made those in Zion forget both the festivals and the Sabbaths. In his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.ז( Zayin)

不要再獻無謂的供物了，香是我所憎惡的。我不能容忍行惡又守嚴肅會：初一、安息日和召集的大會。

你的聖民暫時得你的聖所，但我們的敵人踐踏了它。

現在我告訴你們，我要向我的葡萄園怎麼做。我必撤去籬笆，使它被燒燬；拆毀圍牆，使它被踐踏。

僅存的錫安，好似葡萄園的草棚，如瓜田中的茅屋，又如被圍困的城。

並且挖了西底家的眼睛，用銅鏈鎖着他，帶到巴比倫去，將他囚在監裏，直到他死的日子。巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初十，在巴比倫王面前侍立的尼布撒拉旦護衛長進入耶路撒冷，他焚燒了耶和華的殿、王宮和耶路撒冷的房屋；用火焚燒所有大戶人家的房屋。跟隨護衛長的迦勒底全軍拆毀了耶路撒冷四圍的城牆。那時尼布撒拉旦護衛長將百姓中最窮的和城裏所剩下的百姓，並那些投降巴比倫王的人，以及剩下的工匠，都擄去了。但尼布撒拉旦護衛長留下一些當地最窮的人，叫他們修整葡萄園，耕種田地。耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，把那些銅運到巴比倫去；他們又帶走鍋、鏟子、鉗子、盤子、勺子，和供奉用的一切銅器；杯、火盆、碗、鍋、燈臺、勺子、酒杯，無論金的銀的，護衛長都帶走了；還有所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根銅柱、一面銅海，並座下的十二隻銅牛，這些器皿的銅多得無法可秤至於柱子，這一根柱子高十八肘，厚四指，周圍十二肘，中間是空的；柱上有銅頂，每個銅頂高五肘；銅頂的周圍有網子和石榴，也都是銅的。另一根柱子與此相同，也有石榴。柱子四面有九十六個石榴，在網子周圍，總共有一百個石榴。護衛長拿住西萊雅大祭司、西番亞副祭司和門口的三個守衛，又從城中拿住一個管理士兵的官，並在城裏找到王面前的七個親信，和召募當地百姓之將軍的書記官，以及在城中找到的六十個當地百姓。尼布撒拉旦護衛長把這些人帶到利比拉的巴比倫王那裏。巴比倫王擊殺他們，在哈馬地的利比拉把他們處死。這樣，猶大人就被擄去離開本地。
