In the days of her affliction and wandering Jerusalem remembers all the treasures that were hers in days of old. When her people fell into enemy hands, there was no one to help her. Her enemies looked at her and laughed at her destruction.

Jerusalem’s people are suffering and wandering. They remember all the treasures they used to have. But they fell into the hands of their enemies. And no one was there to help them. Their enemies looked at them. They laughed because Jerusalem had been destroyed.

Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction and wandering all the precious things that were hers from days of old. When her people fell into the hand of the foe, and there was none to help her, her foes gloated over her; they mocked at her downfall.

我要為我所愛的歌唱，唱一首有關他葡萄園的歌：我所愛的在肥美的山岡上有一個葡萄園。他鬆土，清除石頭，栽種了上好的葡萄，在園中建了一座瞭望塔，鑿了榨酒池。他期望收穫好葡萄，得到的卻是壞葡萄。他說，「耶路撒冷和猶大的居民啊，請你們在我和葡萄園之間評評理。我不遺餘力地料理葡萄園，希望得到好葡萄，為什麼得到的只是壞葡萄呢？

我思想上帝，發出哀歎；我默想，心靈疲憊不堪。（細拉）

現在許多國家一起來攻擊你們，說：「願錫安遭蹂躪，我們要看著錫安被毀滅。」

我們的上帝耶和華與我們如此親近，隨時垂聽我們的呼求，有哪個偉大民族的神明能與之相比？有哪個偉大的民族擁有我今天所傳授給你們的如此公義的律例和典章？

她要追隨情人，卻追不上；尋找情人，卻找不到。於是，她說，『我倒不如回到丈夫身邊，我從前的光景比現在還好。』

因為祂要帶你們到一個佳美之地。那裡的谷中和山間流淌著條條溪流、股股清泉；那裡盛產大麥、小麥、葡萄、無花果、石榴、橄欖油和蜂蜜；那裡食物充足，一無所缺；那裡礦產資源豐富，石頭就是鐵，山中可以採銅。

祂將自己的話傳於雅各，將自己的律例和法令指示以色列。祂未曾這樣對待其他國家，他們不知道祂的律法。你們要讚美耶和華！

「這是以色列的上帝耶和華的話，『猶大王派你們來求問我，你們告訴他，前來支援你們的法老軍隊必中途返回埃及，

「亞伯拉罕說，『孩子啊！你要想想，你生前享福，而拉撒路受苦；如今他在這裡得到安慰，而你受折磨。

俘虜我們的人要我們唱歌，擄掠我們的人要我們歌唱，說：「給我們唱一首錫安的歌。」我們流落異邦，怎能唱頌讚耶和華的歌呢？

我們望眼欲穿，盼望援軍的到來，盼來的國家卻無力拯救我們。

有哪個神明像你們的上帝耶和華那樣在埃及當著你們的面降災禍、行神蹟奇事、興起戰爭、伸出臂膀、施展大能的手、以偉大而可畏的作為拯救一族脫離異邦？耶和華行這樣的事，是要叫你們知道祂是上帝，除祂以外，別無他神。祂讓你們聽見祂從天上來的聲音，好教導你們，又在地上讓你們看見祂的烈火，並聽見祂在烈火中說的話。因為祂愛你們的祖先，所以揀選你們，親自用大能把你們從埃及領出來，

路人都拍掌嘲笑你。他們向耶路撒冷城搖頭，嗤笑道：「這就是那被譽為完美無瑕、普世喜悅的城嗎？」敵人都幸災樂禍地譏諷你，他們咬牙切齒地說：「我們吞滅了她！這是我們期待已久的日子！我們終於見到這一天了！」

「但願我回到從前的歲月，回到上帝看顧我的日子。那時，祂的燈在我頭上照耀，祂的光伴我走過黑暗。那時，我身強力壯，上帝是我家的密友；全能者尚與我同在，兒女圍繞在我身旁；我用奶油洗腳，磐石為我湧出橄欖油。「那時，我去城門口，到廣場就坐，青年看見我便迴避，老人也起身肅立；王侯都停止講話，用手掩口；權貴都靜默無聲，舌頭緊貼上膛。聽見我的都祝福我，看見我的都稱讚我。因為我拯救求助的窮人，解救無人援助的孤兒。臨終的人為我祝福，我使寡婦心裡歡唱。我以公義為衣穿在身上，公正是我的外袍和帽子。我做瞎子的眼、瘸子的腳；我做窮人的父，為陌生人伸冤。我打落惡人的毒牙，從他們口中救出受害者。「我想，『我必在家中安然離世，我的年日必多如塵沙。我的根伸展到水邊，枝子整夜沐浴甘露。我的尊榮永不褪色。手中的弓常新不敗。』「人們期待聆聽我的話，默然等候我的教導。我講完後，無人再發言；我的話滋潤他們的心田。他們盼我如盼甘霖，張著口如慕春雨。我的微笑令他們受寵若驚，他們從不使我臉色不悅。我為他們選擇道路，並且做首領，我就像君王住在軍中，又如傷心之人的安慰者。「但如今，比我年少的人竟嘲笑我，他們的父親曾被我鄙視，連我的牧羊犬都不如。

最後，他醒悟過來，心想，『在我父親家裡，連僱工的口糧都綽綽有餘，我現在卻要在這裡餓死嗎？
