予罪之軛、其手所繫兮、連結加於我項、使我力敗兮、主付我於敵手、我不能禦兮、

維予犯罪、主加以軛、懸於我項、使力廢弛兮、付我於敵不能自救兮。

我之愆尤如軛、或作我愆尤之軛主手所繫、纏綿交結、上繞我項、主使我力廢、我不能禦之敵、以我付於其手、

“ My sins have been bound into a yoke; by his hands they were woven together. They have been hung on my neck, and the Lord has sapped my strength. He has given me into the hands of those I cannot withstand.

“ My sins have been made into a heavy yoke. They were woven together by his hands. They have been placed on my neck. The Lord has taken away my strength. He has handed me over to my enemies. I can’t win the battle over them.

“ My transgressions were bound into a yoke; by his hand they were fastened together; they were set upon my neck; he caused my strength to fail; the Lord gave me into the hands of those whom I cannot withstand.

“ He wove my sins into ropes to hitch me to a yoke of captivity. The Lord sapped my strength and turned me over to my enemies; I am helpless in their hands.

My transgressions have been formed into a yoke, fastened together by his hand; they have been placed on my neck, and the Lord has broken my strength. He has handed me over to those I cannot withstand.

The yoke of my wrongdoings is bound; By His hand they are woven together. They have come upon my neck; He has made my strength fail. The Lord has handed me over To those against whom I am not able to stand.

我曾向我的子民發怒，讓我的產業被玷污，把他們交在你手中。你對他們毫不留情，甚至讓老人負極重的軛。

你們必失去所有，饑餓乾渴、赤身裸體地侍奉耶和華派來攻擊你們的敵人。祂要把鐵軛加在你們的頸上，直到消滅你們。

因此，我要伸手攻擊你們，使你們成為各國的俘虜。我必從萬民中剷除你們，從萬國中消滅你們，使你們滅絕。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。』

我要把鐵軛放在所有這些國家的頸上，他們都要臣服於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，連田野的走獸也要交給他管轄。』這是以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說的。」

惡人被自己的罪惡捉住，被自己的罪惡捆綁。

所以我要使東方人侵佔你們的地方。他們必在你們的土地上安營紮寨，吃你們出產的果子，喝你們牛羊的奶。

我必在我的土地上擊垮亞述人，在我的山上踐踏他們，除去他們加在我子民身上的軛和重擔。

我要把他們交在想殺他們的敵人手中，他們的屍體要成為飛禽走獸的食物。我要把猶大王西底迦及其官員交在想殺他們的敵人手中，交在剛撤軍的巴比倫王手中。

後來，西底迦王派人把他帶到自己的宮中，私下問他：「耶和華有什麼話給你嗎？」耶利米說：「有，你要被交在巴比倫王手中。」

我要召集北方各族和我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，去攻擊這片土地和其中的居民以及周圍各國。我要徹底毀滅他們，使他們的下場很可怕、令人嗤笑、土地永遠荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

我要像獅子一樣對待以法蓮，如猛獅一樣對待猶大家，將他們撕碎、拖走，無人能營救他們。

我必把你們從城中趕出去，交給外族人。我必懲罰你們，

遣送到巴比倫，住在那裡一直到死。你們和迦勒底人作戰註定要失敗。這是耶和華說的。』」

我要把你交在你所厭惡的人手中，

如果哪一邦或哪一國不肯臣服於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，不肯負巴比倫王的軛，我必用戰爭、饑荒和瘟疫懲罰他們，直到我藉巴比倫王的手毀滅他們。這是耶和華說的。

猶大王西底迦執政第九年十月，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率領全軍包圍耶路撒冷。西底迦執政第十一年四月九日，耶路撒冷淪陷。尼甲·沙利薛、三甲·尼波、撒西金和另一個尼甲·沙利薛等巴比倫王的所有將領都進城坐在中門。猶大王西底迦和所有軍兵見勢不妙，便在夜間穿過御花園，從兩城牆中間的門逃往亞拉巴。但迦勒底的軍隊追上來，在耶利哥的平原擒住西底迦，把他帶到哈馬的利比拉去見巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，接受審判。巴比倫王在利比拉當著西底迦的面殺了他的眾子和猶大所有的貴族，並且挖去他的雙眼，把他用銅鏈鎖著帶到巴比倫。迦勒底人放火焚燒王宮和民居，拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆。護衛長尼布撒拉旦把城中的餘民以及投降的人都擄到巴比倫，

我照耶和華的吩咐對猶大王西底迦說：「你們要負巴比倫王的軛，臣服於他和他的人民，這樣你們就可存活。

我要把烈怒倒在你們身上，將我的怒火噴在你們身上，把你們交在嗜殺成性的惡徒手中，
