The enemy laid hands on all her treasures; she saw pagan nations enter her sanctuary— those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.

Jerusalem’s enemies took away all her treasures. Her people saw outsiders enter her temple. The Lord had commanded them not to do that.

The enemy has stretched out his hands over all her precious things; for she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, those whom you forbade to enter your congregation.

The enemy has plundered her completely, taking every precious thing she owns. She has seen foreigners violate her sacred Temple, the place the Lord had forbidden them to enter.

The adversary has seized all her precious belongings. She has even seen the nations enter her sanctuary— those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.

我們聽見辱罵就蒙羞，滿面慚愧，因為外邦人進入耶和華殿的聖所。

「亞捫人或摩押人不可入耶和華的會；甚至到第十代，也永不可入耶和華的會。

在那日，百姓聽到人朗讀摩西的律法書，發現書上寫着，亞捫人和摩押人永不可入上帝的會；

耶路撒冷在困苦窘迫之時，就追想古時一切的榮華。她的百姓落在敵人手中，無人幫助；敵人看見，就因她的毀滅嗤笑。

你的聖城已變為曠野；錫安變為曠野，耶路撒冷成為廢墟。我們那神聖華美的殿，就是我們祖先讚美你的地方，已被火焚燒；我們所羨慕的美地盡都荒蕪。

你的敵人在你會中吼叫，他們豎起自己的標幟為記號，好像人揚起斧子對着林中的樹，現在將聖所中的雕刻，全都用斧子錘子打壞。他們用火焚燒你的聖所，褻瀆你名的居所於地。他們心裏說「我們要盡行毀滅」；就在遍地燒燬敬拜上帝聚會的所在。

你們把我的食物，就是脂肪和血獻上的時候，竟把心和肉體未受割禮的外邦人領進我的聖所，玷污我的殿；你們行這一切可憎的事，違背了我的約。

「當你們看見那『施行毀滅的褻瀆者』站在不當站的地方（讀這經的人要會意），那時，在猶太的，應當逃到山上；

耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，把那些銅運到巴比倫去；他們又帶走鍋、鏟子、鉗子、盤子、勺子，和供奉用的一切銅器；杯、火盆、碗、鍋、燈臺、勺子、酒杯，無論金的銀的，護衛長都帶走了；還有所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根銅柱、一面銅海，並座下的十二隻銅牛，這些器皿的銅多得無法可秤

他焚燒了耶和華的殿、王宮和耶路撒冷的房屋；用火焚燒所有大戶人家的房屋。

上帝啊，外邦人侵犯你的產業，玷污你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷變成廢墟，將你僕人的屍首交給天空的飛鳥為食，把你聖民的肉交給地上的走獸，耶路撒冷的周圍流出他們的血如水，無人埋葬。我們成為鄰國羞辱的對象，被四圍的人嗤笑譏刺。耶和華啊，你發怒要到幾時呢？要到永遠嗎？你的忌恨要如火焚燒嗎？求你將你的憤怒傾倒在那不認識你的萬邦和那不求告你名的國度。因為他們吞了雅各，將他的住處變為廢墟。

所以，我的百姓因無知就被擄去；尊貴的人甚是飢餓，平民也極其乾渴。因此，陰間胃口大開，張開無限量的口；令耶路撒冷的貴族與平民、狂歡的與作樂的人都掉落其中。

你的聖民暫時得你的聖所，但我們的敵人踐踏了它。

我要將這城中一切的貨財和勞碌得來的，並一切的珍寶，以及猶大君王所有的寶物，都交在仇敵手中。仇敵要搶奪他們，抓住他們，把他們帶到巴比倫去。

他們褻瀆我寶貴之所，強盜也進去褻瀆它。我必轉臉不顧以色列人。

「我必因你在四境之內所犯的一切罪，將你的貨物財寶當掠物，白白地交出來。

他對他們說：「要使這殿污穢，使院中遍滿被殺的人。你們出去吧！」他們就出去，在城中擊殺。
