The enemy laid hands on all her treasures; she saw pagan nations enter her sanctuary— those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.

Jerusalem’s enemies took away all her treasures. Her people saw outsiders enter her temple. The Lord had commanded them not to do that.

The enemy has stretched out his hands over all her precious things; for she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, those whom you forbade to enter your congregation.

The enemy has plundered her completely, taking every precious thing she owns. She has seen foreigners violate her sacred Temple, the place the Lord had forbidden them to enter.

The adversary has seized all her precious belongings. She has even seen the nations enter her sanctuary— those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.

你们说巴比伦人闯入了耶和华殿的圣所，使你们蒙受耻辱，满面羞愧。

“亚扪人或摩押人及其十代以内的子孙都不可加入耶和华的会众。

那天，有人给民众宣读摩西律法书时，发现书上说亚扪人和摩押人永不可加入上帝的会众。

在困苦流离中，耶路撒冷想起昔日的荣华。如今，她的人民落在敌人手中，无人援救。仇敌看见她，都嘲笑她的灭亡。

你的众圣城已沦为荒场，甚至锡安已沦为荒场，耶路撒冷已沦为废墟。我们那圣洁、华美的殿——我们祖先颂赞你的地方已被焚毁，我们珍爱的一切都被摧毁。

他们在你圣所中高声叫嚷，竖立起自己的旗帜。他们大肆毁坏，好像人抡起斧头砍伐树林。他们用斧头、锤子把雕刻的墙板都捣毁了。他们纵火焚烧你的圣所，把它夷为平地，亵渎了你的居所。他们心里说：“我们要彻底毁灭一切。”于是他们烧毁了境内所有敬拜上帝的地方。

你们献上食物、脂肪和血的同时，竟将那些身心未受割礼的外族人领进我的圣所，亵渎我的殿，破坏我的约，使你们罪上加罪。

“当你们看见‘那带来毁灭的可憎之物’站在不当站的地方时（读者须会意），住在犹太地区的人要逃到山上去；

迦勒底人打碎耶和华殿中的铜柱、铜底座和铜海，把铜运往巴比伦，并带走了盆、铲、蜡剪、碗、碟及一切献祭用的铜器。护卫长还带走了杯、火鼎、碗、盆、灯台、碟和奠酒的杯等所有金银器皿。所罗门王为耶和华的殿所造的两根铜柱、一个铜海、铜海下面的十二头铜牛，以及一些铜底座，用的铜多得无法计算。

放火焚烧耶和华的殿、王宫及城内所有的房屋。他烧毁了所有重要建筑。

上帝啊，外族人侵占你的产业，玷污你的圣殿，使耶路撒冷沦为废墟。他们把你仆人的尸体喂飞鸟，把你忠心子民的尸体给野兽吃，使耶路撒冷周围血流成河，尸体无人埋葬。我们成了列国羞辱的对象，周围的人都嗤笑、讥讽我们。耶和华啊，你向我们发怒，要到何时呢？难道要到永远吗？你的怒火要烧到何时呢？求你把烈怒撒向那些不承认你的列邦，撒向那些不求告你的列国。因为他们吞噬了雅各，摧毁了他的家园。

所以，我的子民必因无知而被掳。他们的贵族无饼充饥，民众无水解渴。阴间必食欲膨胀，张开大口吞噬耶路撒冷的首领、群众和宴乐之人。

你的圣民曾短暂地拥有你的圣所，如今它已被我们的敌人踏平。

我要把这城里所有的财富、出产、珍宝，甚至犹大列王的宝物都交给敌人，带到巴比伦作战利品。

我必转脸不看他们，任由外族人亵渎我的殿，强盗必进入殿里大肆亵渎。

因为你们境内罪恶泛滥，我要使敌人任意抢掠你们的财宝，

祂又对他们说：“要玷污这殿，把你们所杀的堆满整个院子。去吧！”他们便出去，在城中杀戮。
