至上天使米迦勒、與魔鬼爭摩西屍、猶不敢詬誶定其罪、惟曰、主責爾矣、

天使長米迦勒為摩西之屍與魔爭、猶不敢用謗言以罪之、惟曰、主責爾、

昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

天上发生了争战。米迦勒同他的使者与龙作战，龙同它的使者也起来应战，

耶和华向撒但说：“撒但哪，耶和华责备你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华责备你！这不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶和华将他葬在摩押地，伯‧毗珥对面的谷中，只是到今日，没有人知道他的坟墓。

就是天使，虽然力量权能更大，在对他们宣告从主来的审判的时候还不用毁谤的话。

但我要将那记录在真理之书上的话告诉你。除了你们的天使米迦勒之外，没有人帮助我抵挡他们。”

“那时，保佑你百姓的天使长米迦勒必站起来，并且有大艰难，自从有国以来直到此时，未曾有过这样的事。那时，你的百姓凡记录在册上的，必得拯救。

但波斯国的领袖拦阻了我二十一天。看哪，天使长中的一位米迦勒来帮助我，因为我被留在波斯诸王那里。

因为，召集令一发，天使长的呼声一叫，神的号角一吹，主必亲自从天降临；那在基督里死了的人必先复活，

从那里经过的人讥笑他，摇着头，说：“哼！你这拆毁殿、三日又建造起来的，

同钉的犯人中有一个讥笑他，说：“你不是基督吗？救救你自己和我们吧！”另一个就应声责备他，说：“你是一样受刑的，还不怕神吗？

“你们要对犹大王希西家如此说：‘不要听你所倚靠的神欺哄你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手中。看哪，你总听说亚述诸王向列国所行的是尽行灭绝，难道你能幸免吗？我祖先所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色和提‧拉撒的伊甸人；这些国的神明何曾拯救他们呢？哈马的王，亚珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪里呢？’”希西家从使者手里接过书信，看完了，就上耶和华的殿，在耶和华面前展开书信。希西家向耶和华祷告说：“坐在基路伯之上万军之耶和华—以色列的神啊，你，惟有你是地上万国的神，你创造了天和地。耶和华啊，求你侧耳而听；耶和华啊，求你睁眼而看，听西拿基立差遣使者辱骂永生神的一切话。耶和华啊，亚述诸王果然使列国和列国之地变为荒芜，将列国的神明扔在火里，因为它们不是神明，是人手所造的，是木头、石头，所以被灭绝了。耶和华—我们的神啊，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使地上万国都知道惟有你是耶和华。”

大卫出去迎接他们，回答他们说：“你们若和平地来帮助我，我的心就与你们契合；但你们若把我这双手无辜的人卖给敌人，愿我们列祖的神察看责罚。”

不要以恶报恶，以辱骂还辱骂，倒要祝福，因为你们正是为此蒙召的，好使你们承受福气。

于是亚述将军站着，用犹大话大声喊着说：“你们当听大王亚述王的话，王如此说：‘你们不要被希西家欺哄了，因他不能拯救你们。不要听凭希西家说服你们倚靠耶和华，他说，耶和华必要拯救我们，这城必不交在亚述王的手中。’你们不要听希西家的话！因亚述王如此说：‘你们要与我讲和，出来投降，各人就可以吃自己葡萄树和无花果树的果子，喝自己井里的水，等我来领你们到一个地方，与你们本地一样，就是有五谷和新酒之地，有粮食和葡萄园之地。恐怕希西家误导你们说，耶和华必拯救我们。列国的神明有哪一个曾救它本国脱离亚述王的手呢？哈马和亚珥拔的神明在哪里呢？西法瓦音的神明在哪里呢？它们曾救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？这些国的神明有谁曾救自己的国家脱离我的手呢？难道耶和华能救耶路撒冷脱离我的手吗？’”百姓静默不言，一句不答，因为希西家王曾吩咐说：“不要回答他。”

他们对他说：“希西家如此说：‘今日是急难、惩罚、凌辱的日子，就如婴孩快要出生，却没有力气生产。或许耶和华—你的神听见亚述将军的话，就是他主人亚述王差他来辱骂永生神的话，耶和华—你的神就斥责所听见的这些话。求你为幸存的余民扬声祷告。’”

“不可毁谤神；也不可诅咒你百姓的领袖。
