第一要紧的，你们要知道，在末世必有好讥诮的人随从自己的私欲出来讥诮，

我知道，在我离开以后必有凶暴的豺狼进入你们中间，不顾惜羊群。

因为时候将到，那时人会厌烦健全的教导，耳朵发痒，就随心所欲地增添好些教师，

从前在民间有假先知起来；同样，将来在你们中间也会有假教师，偷偷地引进使人灭亡的异端。他们甚至不认买他们的主人，自取迅速灭亡。

愚顽人心里说：“没有神。”他们都败坏，行了可憎恶的事，没有一个人行善。耶和华从天上垂看世人，要看有明白的没有，有寻求神的没有。

这些人喜出怨言，责怪他人，随从自己的情欲而行，口说夸大的话，为自己的利益谄媚人。

圣灵明说，在末后的时期必有人离弃信仰，去听信那诱惑人的邪灵和鬼魔的教训。这是出于撒谎者的假冒；这些人的良心如同被热铁烙了一般。

只是作恶的和骗人的将变本加厉，迷惑人也被人迷惑。

你该知道，末世必有艰难的日子来到。那时人会专爱自己，贪爱钱财，自夸，狂傲，毁谤，违背父母，忘恩负义，心不圣洁，没有亲情，抗拒和解，好说谗言，不能节制，性情凶暴，不爱良善，卖主卖友，任意妄为，自高自大，爱好宴乐，不爱神，有敬虔的外貌，却背弃了敬虔的实质，这等人你要避开。
