Therefore you and your whole group are the ones gathered together against the Lord; but as for Aaron, who is he, that you grumble against him?”

and constant friction between people of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.

Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroyer.

‘ You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not show partiality to the poor nor give preference to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.

A despicable person is despised in his eyes, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He takes an oath to his own detriment, and does not change;

so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God.

that they were saying to you,“ In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.”

not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;

Those who err in mind will know the truth, And those who criticize will accept instruction.

Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul.

But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.

They have closed their unfeeling hearts, With their mouths they speak proudly.

Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?Do they not blaspheme the good name by which you have been called?If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture,“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the Law as violators.

When the people saw this, they all began to complain, saying,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner!”

and you grumbled in your tents and said,‘ Because the Lord hates us, He has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to hand us over to the Amorites to destroy us.

Who shows no partiality to the prominent, Nor regards the rich as above the poor, Since they are all the work of His hands?

to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

But Jesus, aware that His disciples were complaining about this, said to them,“ Is this offensive to you?

For You have kept their hearts away from understanding; Therefore You will not exalt them.He who informs against friends for a share of the spoils, The eyes of his children also will perish.

They have set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue parades through the earth.Therefore his people return here, And abundant waters are drunk by them.They say,“ How does God know? And is there knowledge with the Most High?”

To show partiality is not good, Because for a piece of bread a man will do wrong.
