我們的神來臨，絕不沉默；烈火在他面前吞噬，暴風在他四圍颳起。他向天上、向大地呼喚，為要審判自己的子民；他說：「把我的忠信者招聚到我這裡來，他們是那些用祭物與我立約的人。」

也要使你們這些受患難的人與我們一同得到安息。神要在烈火中報應那些不認識神的人，以及那些不順從我們主耶穌福音的人；

但願他這樣堅固你們的心，使你們在我們主耶穌與他所有的聖徒一起來臨的時候，在神我們的父面前，在聖潔中是無可指責的！阿們。

「當人子在他的榮耀中，與所有的天使一起來臨的時候，他那時就要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

因著信，以諾被接去而沒有經歷死亡，人也找不到他，因為神把他接去了。原來他被接去以前，已經蒙神喜悅而受到讚許。沒有信，就不可能蒙神喜悅，因為來到神面前的人，必須相信神存在，並且相信他報償那些尋求他的人。

「看哪，他在雲彩中來臨，所有人的眼睛都將看見他，連那些刺他的人也將看見他；地上的萬族都要因他捶胸哀哭。」確實如此，阿們。

你們會經由我的山谷逃跑，因為山谷延伸到亞薩；你們會逃跑，像人們逃避猶大王烏西雅年間的大地震那樣。耶和華我的神必來臨，所有的聖者也與他一起來臨。

「我繼續觀看，寶座已經安放好，亙古永存者入座了；他的衣服潔白如雪，他的頭髮純淨如羊毛；他的寶座是烈火的火焰，寶座的輪子是燃燒的烈火。從他面前有一條火河湧流而出；事奉他的有千千，侍立在他面前的有萬萬；庭審已經開始，書卷都打開了。

人子將要在他父的榮耀中，與他的天使們一起來臨。那時候，他要按照各人的所作所為回報每個人。

「那時候，人子的徵兆將要顯現在天上，地上的萬族都要捶胸哀哭。他們將要看見人子帶著極大的權能和榮耀，在天上的雲彩中來臨。在嘹亮的號角聲中，他要差派他的天使們從四方，從天這邊到天那邊，召集他所揀選的人。

雅列活到一百六十二歲時，生了以諾。

以諾活到六十五歲時，生了瑪土撒拉。以諾生了瑪土撒拉之後，與神同行三百年，並且生了其他的兒女。這樣以諾一生活了三百六十五年。以諾與神同行；後來他不在地上了，因為神把他接去。
