禍哉斯人也、以其行該隱之途、且為利而趨巴蘭之謬、淪亡於可拉之違言、

彼行該隱之途、以其貪利、故謬則從巴蘭、逆則效哥喇、烏能弗敗、

彼眾禍矣、因行該隱之途、為利而從巴蘭之謬、效哥拉之逆、皆必淪亡、

哀哉此輩、既追踵該因、步其後塵；且以利忘身、而流入巴賴之歧途；又不惜與可拉並肩作亂、而自取滅亡也。

Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.

How terrible it will be for them! They have followed the way of Cain. They have rushed into the same mistake Balaam made. They did it because they loved money. They are like Korah. He turned against his leaders. These people will certainly be destroyed, just as Korah was.

Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion.

What sorrow awaits them! For they follow in the footsteps of Cain, who killed his brother. Like Balaam, they deceive people for money. And like Korah, they perish in their rebellion.

Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain, have plunged into Balaam’s error for profit, and have perished in Korah’s rebellion.

Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain, and for pay they have given themselves up to the error of Balaam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

Woe to them! For they have traveled down Cain’s path, and because of greed have abandoned themselves to Balaam’s error; hence, they will certainly perish in Korah’s rebellion.

他們離開了正道就被迷惑，隨從了比珥的兒子巴蘭的路——這巴蘭喜愛不義的酬報，

過了一些日子，該隱帶來土地的出產，作為供物獻給耶和華；至於亞伯，他帶來了自己羊群中最好的頭生羊。耶和華看重了亞伯和他的供物，卻沒有看重該隱和他的供物。該隱就極其惱火，他的臉沉了下來。耶和華對該隱說：「你為什麼惱火呢？你的臉為什麼沉下來呢——如果你做得好，能不蒙悅納嗎？如果你做得不好，罪就伏在門口了；它必戀慕你，而你要管轄它。」該隱與他的弟弟亞伯說話。他們在田野的時候，該隱就起來攻擊他的弟弟亞伯，把他殺了。耶和華對該隱說：「你弟弟亞伯在哪裡呢？」他說：「我不知道。難道我是看守我兄弟的嗎？」耶和華說：「你做了什麼呢？你弟弟的血從地裡發聲向我呼叫。地張開了口，從你的手中接受了你弟弟的血，所以你現在要從這地受詛咒：你耕耘土地，地卻不再給你效力；你在大地上必成為漂泊、流蕩的人。」該隱對耶和華說：「對我的懲罰太重，超過我所能承擔的。看哪，今天你從這地驅逐我，以致我要躲避你的面，在大地上成為漂泊、流蕩的人，任何找到我的人，都會殺我！」

然而，我有幾件事要責備你，就是在你那裡有些人持守巴蘭的教導。這巴蘭曾教唆巴勒把絆腳石放在以色列子民面前，就是使他們吃祭過偶像的食物，並且行淫亂。

他們臉上的表情證實自己的不是；他們像所多瑪那樣公然顯露自己的罪；他們毫不隱藏。他們有禍了，因為他們為自己招來了災禍。

因著信，亞伯向神獻上的祭物比該隱所獻的更好，就藉著信受到了讚許成為義人，因為神讚許他的禮物。他雖然死了，但藉著信仍然說話。

惡人卻有禍了，他們必遭災難，因為他們手所做的必回報到自己身上。

「你們法利賽人有禍了！因為你們奉獻薄荷、芸香和各種蔬菜的十分之一，卻廢棄了公義和屬神的愛。這些事是你們應該做的，至於前者也不可忽略。「你們法利賽人有禍了！因為你們喜愛會堂裡的首位，喜愛街市上的致敬問候。「你們有禍了！因為你們好像沒有標誌的墳墓，人走在上面也不知道。」有一個律法師對耶穌說：「老師，你說這些話，把我們也侮辱了。」耶穌說：「你們這些律法師也有禍了！因為你們使人背負難挑的重擔，但自己卻連一根指頭也不肯碰它們一下。「你們有禍了！因為你們建造先知的墳墓，而你們的祖先是殺害他們的。

「哥拉汛哪，你有禍了！伯賽達呀，你有禍了！因為在你們當中行過的神蹟，如果行在提爾和西頓，那裡的人早就會披麻蒙灰悔改了。

「禍哉！那撇棄羊群的無用牧人！刀劍必落在他的膀臂和右眼上；他的膀臂將完全枯萎，他的右眼將徹底失明。」

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們在人的面前封閉了天國。你們自己不進去，也不讓正要進的人進去。
