2 Samuel 21 1-2 Samuel 21 6
During David’s reign there was a famine for three successive years, so David inquired of the Lord. The Lord answered,“ It is because of the blood shed by Saul and his family when he killed the Gibeonites.”The Gibeonites were not Israelites but rather a remnant of the Amorites. The Israelites had taken an oath concerning them, but Saul had tried to kill them in his zeal for the Israelites and Judah. So David summoned the Gibeonites and spoke to them.He asked the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? How can I make atonement so that you will bring a blessing on the Lord’s inheritance?”The Gibeonites said to him,“ We are not asking for money from Saul or his family, and we cannot put anyone to death in Israel.”“ Whatever you say, I will do for you,” he said. They replied to the king,“ As for the man who annihilated us and plotted to destroy us so we would not exist within the whole territory of Israel, let seven of his male descendants be handed over to us so we may hang them in the presence of the Lord at Gibeah of Saul, the Lord’s chosen.” The king answered,“ I will hand them over.”

Ezekiel 17:12-21
“ Now say to that rebellious house: Don’t you know what these things mean? Tell them: The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and officials, and brought them back with him to Babylon. He took one of the royal family and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. Then he took away the leading men of the land,so the kingdom might be humble and not exalt itself but might keep his covenant in order to endure. However, this king revolted against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt so they might give him horses and a large army. Will he flourish? Will the one who does such things escape? Can he break a covenant and still escape?“ As I live”— this is the declaration of the Lord God—“ he will die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke.Pharaoh will not help him with his great army and vast horde in battle, when ramps are built and siege walls constructed to destroy many lives. He despised the oath by breaking the covenant. He did all these things even though he gave his hand in pledge. He will not escape!”Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ As I live, I will bring down on his head My oath that he despised and My covenant that he broke.I will spread My net over him, and he will be caught in My snare. I will bring him to Babylon and execute judgment on him there for the treachery he committed against Me.All the fugitives among his troops will fall by the sword, and those who survive will be scattered to every direction of the wind. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken.”
