耶和華兮、有主坐爾之右、震怒之時、必擊列王兮、

約書亞擊五王、殺而懸於木、至於終日。日入時、約書亞命人下尸於木、擲於所匿之穴、塞以大石、至今尚存。○是日約書亞取馬基大、刃擊其王、盡滅其民、靡有孑遺。如昔伐耶利哥王、今伐馬基大王亦如是。
