Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord God of Israel and give praise to him. And tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and honor him. Tell me what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, the Lord is the God of Israel. So give him glory and honor him by telling the truth! Tell me what you have done. Don’t hide it from me.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, by telling the truth. Make your confession and tell me what you have done. Don’t hide it from me.”

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the LORD, the God of Israel, and make a confession to him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, I implore you, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him; and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.”

Now Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and make a confession to Him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide[ it] not from me.

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, honor the LORD God of Israel and give him praise! Tell me what you did; don’t hide anything from me!”

Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, please give glory to Yahweh, the God of Israel, and make confession to him. Tell me now what you have done! Don’t hide it from me!”

So you must make images of your tumors and images of your mice that ravage the land, and give glory to the God of Israel. Perhaps he will lighten his hand from off you and your gods and your land.

Give glory to the Lord your God before he brings darkness, before your feet stumble on the twilight mountains, and while you look for light he turns it into gloom and makes it deep darkness.

Then Saul said to Jonathan,“ Tell me what you have done.” And Jonathan told him,“ I tasted a little honey with the tip of the staff that was in my hand. Here I am; I will die.”

So for the second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him,“ Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”

They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.

And Ezra the priest stood up and said to them,“ You have broken faith and married foreign women, and so increased the guilt of Israel.Now then make confession to the Lord, the God of your fathers and do his will. Separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from the foreign wives.”

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

Then they said to him,“ Tell us on whose account this evil has come upon us. What is your occupation? And where do you come from? What is your country? And of what people are you?”And he said to them,“ I am a Hebrew, and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”Then the men were exceedingly afraid and said to him,“ What is this that you have done!” For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.

And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
