你起來，要人民自潔，對他們說：‘你們要自潔，預備明天；因為耶和華以色列的神這樣說：以色列啊！你們中間有那當毀滅的物；除非你們把那當毀滅的物從你們中間除去，你們在仇敵的面前就不能站立得住。

你起来，去叫百姓分别为圣，说：‘你们要为了明天使自己分别为圣，因为耶和华—以色列的上帝这样说：以色列啊，在你中间有当灭的物；你们若不把你们中间当灭之物除掉，你在仇敌面前必站立不住！’

起来吧！去吩咐民众洁净自己，让他们为明天洁净自己，因为以色列的上帝耶和华这样说，‘以色列啊！你们中间有本该毁灭的东西，你们不除掉这些东西就无法抵挡敌人。

起來吧！去吩咐民眾潔淨自己，讓他們為明天潔淨自己，因為以色列的上帝耶和華這樣說，『以色列啊！你們中間有本該毀滅的東西，你們不除掉這些東西就無法抵擋敵人。

你起來，叫人民潔淨自己為聖，對他們說：「你們要潔淨自己為聖，以備明天；因為永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：以色列啊，你們中間有該被毁滅歸神之物；非等到你們使該被毁滅歸神之物離開你們中間，你們在仇敵面前、就立不住。

起、使民自潔、諭之曰、自潔以備明日、蓋以色列之上帝耶和華云、以色列歟、爾中匿有當滅之物、非先除之、不能禦敵、

盍起、成聖斯民、使潔己身、以待明晨、將我命傳眾曰、以色列族與、有獻我之物、藏於爾間、未出斯物、爾不能禦敵。

爾起、使民自潔、諭之曰、明日當自潔、蓋主以色列之天主如是云、以色列人、爾中有擅取歸我物之罪、故爾未除此罪、不能禦敵、

“ Go, consecrate the people. Tell them,‘ Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.

“ Go and set the people apart. Tell them,‘ Make yourselves pure. Get ready for tomorrow. Here is what the Lord, the God of Israel, wants you to do. He says,“ People of Israel, you have kept some of the things that had been set apart to me to be destroyed. You can’t stand up against your enemies until you get rid of those things.”

Get up! Consecrate the people and say,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow; for thus says the Lord, God of Israel,“ There are devoted things in your midst, O Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted things from among you.”

“ Get up! Command the people to purify themselves in preparation for tomorrow. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Hidden among you, O Israel, are things set apart for the Lord. You will never defeat your enemies until you remove these things from among you.

“ Go and consecrate the people. Tell them to consecrate themselves for tomorrow, for this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There are things that are set apart among you, Israel. You will not be able to stand against your enemies until you remove what is set apart.

Stand up! Consecrate the people and say,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, because the Lord, the God of Israel, has said this:“ There are things designated for destruction in your midst, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you have removed the designated things from your midst.”

Get up, sanctify the people, and say,‘ sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel:“ There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you.”

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, There is a devoted thing in the midst of thee, O Israel; thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the devoted thing from among you.

“ Go and consecrate the people. Tell them to consecrate themselves for tomorrow, for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are things that are set apart among you, Israel. You will not be able to stand against your enemies until you remove what is set apart.

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel,[ There is] an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.

Get up! Ritually consecrate the people and tell them this:‘ Ritually consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, because the LORD God of Israel says,“ You are contaminated, O Israel! You will not be able to stand before your enemies until you remove what is contaminating you.”

Get up! Sanctify the people, and say,‘ Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, for Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,“ There is a devoted thing among you, Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted thing from among you.”

約書亞對人民說：“你們要自潔，因為明天耶和華要在你們中間行奇事。”

偽君子啊！先除掉你眼中的梁木，才可以看得清楚，去除掉弟兄眼中的木屑。

但現在我寫信告訴你們，如果有稱為弟兄，卻是行淫亂、貪心、拜偶像、辱罵人、醉酒或勒索的，這樣的人，不可和他來往，連和他吃飯都不可。審判教外的人，跟我有甚麼關係？教內的人不是你們審判的嗎？至於教外的人，神會審判他們。你們要把那惡人從你們中間趕出去。

我們要檢討和省察自己的行為，然後歸向耶和華。我們要向天上的神，誠心舉手禱告：

不過你們要謹慎，不可取那當毀滅的物，恐怕你們貪心，取了那當毀滅的物，就使以色列營成為當毀滅的，使以色列營遭遇災禍。

耶和華對摩西說：“你到人民那裡去，要他們今天明天分別為聖，又要他們洗淨自己的衣服；第三天，他們要準備好了，因為第三天耶和華要在全體人民眼前降臨在西奈山。你要在山的周圍給人民定界限，說：‘你們要謹慎，不可上山來，也不可觸摸山腳；凡是觸摸著那山的，必要把他處死。不可用手觸摸他，必須用石頭把他打死，或用箭射透；無論是牲畜，是人，都不得生存。’當號角聲拖長的時候，你們才可以上到山上來。”摩西從山上下來到人民那裡去，使人民分別為聖，他們就把自己的衣服洗淨了。他對人民說：“第三天，你們要預備好了；不可親近女人。”

你們要召集民眾，使會眾分別為聖；招聚老人，聚集孩童，和在懷中吃奶的嬰孩；讓新郎從新房出來，新婦從內室出來。讓事奉耶和華的祭司在聖殿的廊子和祭壇之間哭泣，讓他們說：“耶和華啊！求你憐恤你的子民。不要使你的產業受羞辱，使他們在列國中成為笑談。為甚麼容人在萬民中譏笑說：‘他們的神在哪裡呢？’”

現在你們又想強迫猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢。難道你們自己就沒有得罪耶和華你們的神嗎？

聽說你們中間竟然有淫亂的事，這樣的淫亂在教外人中間都沒有，就是有人和他的繼母同居。你們還是自高自大！難道你們不該覺得痛心，把作這件事的人從你們中間趕出去嗎？我身體雖然不在你們那裡，心靈卻與你們在一起，好像我親身在那裡審判了作這件事的人，就是當你們奉我們主耶穌的名聚集在一起，我的靈在那裡，我們主耶穌的權能也同在的時候，要把這樣的人交給撒但，敗壞他的身體，使他的靈魂在主的日子可以得救。你們這樣自誇是不好的。你們不知道一點麵酵能使全團麵發起來嗎？

無恥的國民哪！你們要聚集，要聚集起來。趁命令還沒有發出，日子還沒有像風前的糠秕一般吹過，耶和華的烈怒還沒有臨到你們，耶和華忿怒的日子還沒有臨到你們以前，你們要聚集起來！

以色列人犯了罪，違背了我吩咐他們的約定，因為他們取了那當毀滅的物，他們偷竊，並且說謊，又把那當毀滅的物放在自己的物件中。
