恶人未被追赶也逃窜，义人坦然无惧如雄狮。

你们纵然把孩子养大，我也要夺去他们的性命，一个也不留。我撇弃你们的时候，你们就有祸了！

耶路撒冷啊，你要接受告诫，否则我要离弃你，使你荒无人烟。”

不可把可憎之物带到家里，否则你们会像它们一样被毁灭。你们要极其憎恶、厌弃它们，因为它们是当毁灭之物。

你的眼目极为清洁，见不得邪恶，也不能容忍罪恶。但你为何容忍奸恶之人呢？恶人吞灭比他们公义的人，你为何默然不语呢？

哈该又说：“如果因碰过尸体而变得不洁净的人接触这些食物，这些食物会变得不洁净吗？”祭司答道：“会变得不洁净。”于是哈该说：“耶和华说，‘这百姓和这国家在我面前也是如此。他们手中的各样工作和他们在那里所献的都不洁净。’

耶和华说：“耶利米啊，如果有百姓、先知或祭司问你，‘耶和华有什么启示？’你要对他们说，‘你们就是耶和华的重担，耶和华说要丢弃你们。’

你们的罪过使你们与上帝隔绝，你们的罪恶使祂转脸不看你们，也不听你们的祈求。

以色列人听了耶和华的天使说的话，就放声大哭，

你们今日要离弃耶和华吗？今日你们背叛耶和华，明日祂必向以色列全体会众发怒。如果你们认为自己的土地不洁净，可以搬到耶和华的土地跟我们一起居住，这里有耶和华的圣幕。只是不可在耶和华的祭坛以外，自己另筑祭坛，以致背叛耶和华，连累我们。从前谢拉的曾孙亚干私自留下那些耶和华吩咐要毁灭的东西，以致耶和华的烈怒临到以色列全体会众，因他的罪而死的不只他一个人！”
