Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions.

Israel has sinned. I made a covenant with them. I commanded them to keep it. But they have broken it. They have taken some of the things that had been set apart to me in a special way to be destroyed. They have stolen. They have lied. They have taken the things they stole and have put them with their own things.

有一個人，名叫亞拿尼亞，同他的妻子撒非喇，賣了田產，把錢私自留下一部分，他的妻子也知道，其餘的部分拿來放在使徒腳前。

這城和其中所有的都要永獻給耶和華作當毀滅的，只有妓女喇合與她家中所有的可以存活，因為她隱藏了我們所派的使者。但你們務必謹慎，不可取那當滅的物，免得你們受詛咒，取了那當滅的物，使以色列全營成為詛咒而遭受災禍。只有金子、銀子和銅鐵的器皿都要歸耶和華為聖，放入耶和華的庫房中。」

亞干回答約書亞說：「我實在得罪了耶和華－以色列的神。這是我所做的：我在所奪取的財物中看見一件美好的示拿外袍，二百舍客勒銀子，一條重五十舍客勒的金子。我貪愛這些物件，就拿去了。看哪，這些東西都埋在我帳棚內的地裏，銀子在外袍底下。」

他們說：「是凱撒的。」於是耶穌說：「這樣，凱撒的歸凱撒；神的歸神。」

地被其上的居民所污穢，因為他們犯了律法，廢了律例，背了永約。

基哈西進去，站在主人面前。以利沙對他說：「基哈西，你從哪裏來？」他說：「僕人哪裏也沒去。」以利沙對他說：「那人下車轉過來迎着你的時候，我的心豈沒有去呢？這豈是接受銀子，接受衣裳、橄欖園、葡萄園、牛羊、僕婢的時候呢？

被造的，沒有一樣在他面前不是顯露的；萬物在他眼前都是赤露敞開的，我們必須向他交賬。

「在你中間，在耶和華－你神所賜你的各城中，任何一座城裏，若有男人或女人做了耶和華－你神眼中看為惡的事，違背了他的約，

以色列人在當滅之物上犯了罪。猶大支派中，謝拉的曾孫，撒底的孫子，迦米的兒子亞干取了當滅之物，耶和華的怒氣就向以色列人發作。

這約不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。

彼得對她說：「你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的腳已到門口，他們也要把你抬出去。」

於是耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，說：「因為這國違背我吩咐他們列祖當守的約，不聽從我的話，

這是因為他們不聽從耶和華－他們的神的話，違背了他的約；他們既不聽從，也不遵行耶和華僕人摩西一切所吩咐的。

你們若違背耶和華－你們神吩咐你們所守的約，去事奉別神，敬拜它們，耶和華的怒氣必向你們發作，使你們在他所賜給你們的美地上迅速滅亡。」

人豈可搶奪神呢？你們竟搶奪我！你們卻說：『我們在何事上搶奪你呢？』其實就是在你們當納的十分之一奉獻和當獻的供物上。因你們全國上下都搶奪我的供物，詛咒就臨到你們身上。

「若有人在耶和華的聖物上無意中犯了罪，有了過犯，就要獻羊羣中一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊給耶和華為贖愆祭，或依聖所的舍客勒所估定的銀子，作為贖愆祭。

耶和華如此說：「我休了你們的母親，她的休書在哪裏呢？我將你們賣給了我哪一個債主呢？看哪，你們被賣是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被休，是因你們的過犯。我來的時候，為何沒有人呢？我呼喚的時候，為何無人回應呢？我的膀臂豈是過短、不能救贖嗎？我豈無拯救之力嗎？看哪，我一斥責，海就乾了；我使江河變為曠野，其中的魚因無水腥臭，乾渴而死。

萬軍之耶和華說：我要把這書卷送出去，進入偷竊者的家和指着我名起假誓者的家，停留在他家裏，連房屋帶木頭和石頭都毀滅了。」

這些人豈不都要提起詩歌和俗語，嘲諷他說：禍哉！你增添不屬自己的財物，靠押金發財，要到幾時呢？

「為甚麼不把這香膏賣三百個銀幣去賙濟窮人呢？」他說這話，並不是關心窮人，而是因為他是個賊，又管錢囊，常偷取錢囊中所存的。

他們卻如亞當背約，在那裏向我行詭詐。
