Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions.

Israel has sinned. I made a covenant with them. I commanded them to keep it. But they have broken it. They have taken some of the things that had been set apart to me in a special way to be destroyed. They have stolen. They have lied. They have taken the things they stole and have put them with their own things.

Israel has sinned; they have transgressed my covenant that I commanded them; they have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen and lied and put them among their own belongings.

Israel has sinned and broken my covenant! They have stolen some of the things that I commanded must be set apart for me. And they have not only stolen them but have lied about it and hidden the things among their own belongings.

有一个人名叫亚拿尼亚，同他妻子撒非拉，把田产卖了。他私底下把钱留了一部分，妻子也知道这件事。他把其余的一部分带来，放在使徒的脚前。

这城要完全毁灭，城和城中的一切都归耶和华；只有妓女喇合，和所有与她在家中的都可以存活，因为她收藏了我们派去的使者。不过你们要谨慎，不可取那当毁灭的物，恐怕你们贪心，取了那当毁灭的物，就使以色列营成为当毁灭的，使以色列营遭遇灾祸。可是，所有的金银和铜铁的器皿，都要归耶和华为圣，存入耶和华的库房中。”

亚干回答约书亚，说：“我实在得罪了耶和华以色列的神；我作过的事是这样的。我在战利品中，看见了一件美丽的示拿衣服、二千二百八十克银子，和一条重五百七十克的金条；我因贪爱这些物件，就把它们拿去了；现在埋藏在我帐棚的地里，银子在底下。”

他们回答：“凯撒的。”他就对他们说：“凯撒的应当归给凯撒，神的应当归给神。”

大地被其上的居民玷污，因为他们犯了律法，违了律例，背了永远的约。

他进去，侍立在他主人面前，以利沙对他说：“基哈西，你从哪里来？”他说：“你的仆人没有到过什么地方。”以利沙对他说：“那人下车转身迎着你的时候，我的心不是和你同去吗？现在不是收受银子、衣服、橄榄园、葡萄园、羊、牛、仆人和婢女的时候。

被造的在神面前没有一样不是显明的，万有在他的眼前都是赤露敞开的；我们必须向他交帐。

“在你中间，就是耶和华你的神赐给你的任何一座城里，如果发现有人，无论是男是女，行耶和华你的神眼中看为恶的事，违犯了他的约，

以色列人在那当毁灭的物上犯了不忠实的罪；因为犹大支派中，谢拉的曾孙、撒底的孙子、迦米的儿子亚干，取了当毁灭的物，耶和华就向以色列人发怒。

这新约不像从前我拉他们祖先的手，领他们出埃及地的日子，与他们所立的约；我虽然是他们的丈夫，他们却违背了我的约。”这是耶和华的宣告。

彼得说：“你们为什么串同试探主的灵呢？你看，埋你丈夫的人的脚，已经到了门口，他们也要把你抬出去。”

于是耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，说：“因为这国的人违背我吩咐他们列祖的约，不听从我的话，

这是因为他们不听从耶和华他们神的话，违背他的约；耶和华的仆人摩西吩咐的一切，他们都不听从，不遵行。

如果你们违背了耶和华你们的神吩咐你们遵守的约，去事奉别的神，敬拜他们，耶和华必向你们大发烈怒，使你们从他赐给你们的美地上迅速灭亡。”

人怎可抢夺神之物呢？你们却抢夺属我之物，竟还问：‘我们抢夺了你的什么呢？’就是抢夺了当纳的十分之一和当献的祭物。你们要受严厉的咒诅，因你们全国的人都抢夺了属我之物。”

“如果有人在耶和华的圣物上不忠实，无意犯了罪，他就要依照你按着圣所衡量银子标准所估的银价，把他的赎愆祭牲，就是羊群中一只没有残疾的公绵羊，牵到耶和华面前作赎愆祭。

耶和华这样说：“我离弃了你们的母亲，休书在哪里呢？或者我的债主中，哪一个是我把你们卖了给他的呢？看哪！你们被卖是因你们的罪孽；你们的母亲被离弃是因你们的过犯。为什么我来的时候，没有人在呢？为什么我呼唤的时候，没有人答应呢？难道我的手太软弱不能救赎吗？或是我没有能力拯救吗？看哪！我以斥责使海干涸，我使江河变成旷野，江河的鱼因无水发臭，因干渴而死。

万军之耶和华说：‘我要使这书卷出去，进入盗贼的家和指着我的名起假誓之人的家，这书卷必留在他的家中，要把他家里的木料和石头都毁灭（这是万军之耶和华说的）。’”

这些国民岂不都用譬喻、讽刺、暗语指着他们说：“那些滥得他人财物的，满载别人抵押品的，有祸了！他们这样要到几时呢？”

“为什么不把这香膏卖三百银币，周济穷人呢？”他说这话，并不是因为他关怀穷人，而是因为他是个贼，又带着钱囊，常取其中所存的。

可是他们却在亚当城背约，在那里向我行诡诈。
