物歸於主或為當滅者、爾自慎、勿取之、取之則成為當滅者、並使以色列全營亦為當滅者、陷之於禍、

But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it.

But keep away from the things that have been set apart to the Lord. If you take any of them, you will be destroyed. And you will bring trouble on the camp of Israel. You will cause it to be destroyed.

But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel a thing for destruction and bring trouble upon it.

“ Do not take any of the things set apart for destruction, or you yourselves will be completely destroyed, and you will bring trouble on the camp of Israel.

But keep yourselves from the things set apart, or you will be set apart for destruction. If you take any of those things, you will set apart the camp of Israel for destruction and make trouble for it.

But as for you, only keep yourselves from the things designated for destruction, so that you do not covet them and take some of the designated things, and turn the camp of Israel into something designated for destruction and bring disaster on it.

And you, by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of the accursed things, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

But as for you, only keep yourselves from the devoted thing, lest when ye have devoted it, ye take of the devoted thing; so would ye make the camp of Israel accursed, and trouble it.

But keep yourselves from the things set apart, or you will be set apart for destruction. If you take any of those things, you will set apart the camp of Israel for destruction and bring disaster on it.

And ye, in any wise keep[ yourselves] from the accursed thing, lest ye make[ yourselves] accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

But be careful when you are setting apart the riches for the LORD. If you take any of it, you will make the Israelite camp subject to annihilation and cause a disaster.

But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

約書亞曰、爾何貽禍於我、今日耶和華必禍爾。時以色列族擊之以石、爇之以火、

闇昧之行無益、爾不可與、當責之、

以色列族犯罪、背我命約、當獻之物為其攘竊、匿於器中、而佯循我命、故以色列族服咒敗北、不得禦敵、如不以當獻之物出於爾中、我不復佑爾。

以色列族犯所獻之物而取戾、蓋猶大支派、西喇曾孫、颯底孫。迦米子亞干、取所獻之物、故耶和華怒以色列族。○

主曰、爾出不潔者中、自為樹立、不近於彼、吾則納爾、

見之則曰、貽禍於以色列族者、豈非爾乎。對曰、貽禍於以色列族、非我也、乃爾及爾父之家、違耶和華命、奉事巴力故耳。

愛無偽、惡惡、親仁、

大闢在位之時年饑、歷三載、大闢諮諏於耶和華。耶和華曰、緣掃羅及其全家、殘忍是行嘗殺基遍人。

曰、取我身擲於海、則海之震盪立止、蓋我知緣我之故、爾遭颶風。

智之為用勝於劍戟、惟一愚人與其間、則雖有嘉謀、亦為所敗。

民中一人曰、爾父發誓、使民不食餱糧、犯者見詛、今民甚矣憊。約拿單曰、我父累及於民、我少嘗蜜、我目即明、爾眾為證。敵之糗糧、今日為民所得、如任意以食、則殺非利士人、豈非尤眾。民擊非利士人、自密抹至亞耶倫、困憊愈甚。乃取所得、牛羊與犢、宰之於野、肉尚有血而食之。人告掃羅曰、民食有血之肉、干耶和華命。掃羅曰、爾曹犯罪、當移大石至此。又曰、遍告於民、使各牽牛羊於此、宰之而食可也。肉尚有血者毋食、恐干耶和華命。是夜民各牽牛、宰之於彼。掃羅築壇、奉事耶和華實始於此。掃羅曰、我儕夤夜追襲非利士人、虜其所有、使其民人、靡有孑遺、迨至黎明、乃止。民對曰、爾可任意以行。祭司曰、當詣上帝前。掃羅詢於上帝、非利士人今日可襲之乎。爾其以之付於以色列人手乎。是日上帝無所應。掃羅曰、惟爾民長、咸必前來、欲知今日誰干罪戾、我指救以色列族之耶和華而誓、雖我子約拿單、亦必死亡。民中無有應之者。乃申命於以色列族曰、汝眾在彼、我與我子約拿單在此。民曰、爾任意以行。掃羅祈以色列族之上帝耶和華、曰、願指示其實。掣籤得掃羅及約拿單。民弗與焉。掃羅曰、於我父子之間、試再掣籤、乃得約拿單。

惟眷顧孤寡於患難間、處世而自守無玷、是誠虔共、無纖垢於父上帝前、

我取其人、既藏所獻之物、則必爇之、與凡所有、緣背我約、行不端於以色列族中。

毋攜可惡之物入室、必憾之絕之、不然、爾必見絕、有類於彼。

可惡之物、毋存於爾手、宜聽爾上帝耶和華之命、守我今日所傳之誡、行善於爾上帝耶和華前、則耶和華息其烈怒、矜恤於爾、使爾昌熾、踐所誓爾祖之言、

今日爾曹不從耶和華、違逆其命、恐明日耶和華怒以色列會眾。如爾所得之地、以為不潔、則歸耶和華會幕所立之地、在我儕中得業亦可、但勿違耶和華及我、除我上帝耶和華壇外、勿更築壇。昔西喇孫亞干、豈非干犯所當獻之物、而降災於以色列會眾乎、其咎戾豈亞干獨亡乎。
