在約但河西邊的亞摩利人那些王、和靠海的迦南人那些王、聽見永恆主使約但河的水從以色列人面前乾了、等着我們過河，他們就因以色列人的緣故而膽戰心驚，不再有勇氣了。

約但西亞摩利列王、海濱迦南列王、聞耶和華使約但水涸於以色列人前、以待其濟、則為之心怯而氣餒、○

約但西、亞摩哩列王、及海濱迦南列王、風聞其事、知耶和華於以色列族前、使水盡涸、待民悉濟、則喪其膽、毫無銳氣、懼以色列族。○

Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted in fear and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites.

They weren’t brave enough to face the Israelites anymore.

As soon as all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan for the people of Israel until they had crossed over, their hearts melted and there was no longer any spirit in them because of the people of Israel.

When all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings who lived along the Mediterranean coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan River so the people of Israel could cross, they lost heart and were paralyzed with fear because of them.

When all the Amorite kings across the Jordan to the west and all the Canaanite kings near the sea heard how the LORD had dried up the water of the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, they lost heart and their courage failed because of the Israelites.

Now it came about when all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard how the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the sons of Israel until they had crossed, that their hearts melted, and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the sons of Israel.

And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, that were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, that were by the sea, heard how that Jehovah had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

When all the Amorite kings on the west side of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the seacoast heard how the LORD had dried up the water of the Jordan before the Israelites while they crossed, they lost their courage and could not even breathe for fear of the Israelites.

When all the kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, who were by the sea, heard how Yahweh had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel until we had crossed over, their heart melted, and there was no more spirit in them, because of the children of Israel.

亚玛力人住在南地；赫人、耶布斯人、亚摩利人住在山地；迦南人住在海边并约旦河旁。”

席上的珍馐美味，群臣分列而坐，仆人两旁侍立，以及他们的衣服装饰和酒政的衣服装饰，又见他上耶和华殿的台阶，就诧异得神不守舍；

对他们说：“我知道耶和华已经把这地赐给你们，并且因你们的缘故我们都惊慌了。这地的一切居民在你们面前心都消化了；因为我们听见你们出埃及的时候，耶和华怎样在你们前面使红海的水干了，并且你们怎样待约旦河东的两个亚摩利王西宏和噩，将他们尽行毁灭。我们一听见这些事，心就消化了。因你们的缘故，并无一人有胆气。耶和华你们的神本是上天下地的神。

我要打发黄蜂飞在你前面，把希未人、迦南人、赫人撵出去。

就是亚摩利王西宏和巴珊王噩，并迦南一切的国王，

说主耶和华对耶路撒冷如此说：你根本，你出世，是在迦南地；你父亲是亚摩利人，你母亲是赫人。

迦萨必致见弃；亚实基伦必然荒凉。人在正午必赶出亚实突的民；以革伦也被拔出根来。住沿海之地的基利提族有祸了！迦南、非利士人之地啊，耶和华的话与你反对，说：“我必毁灭你，以致无人居住。沿海之地要变为草场，其上有牧人的住处和羊群的圈。”

他们的王：一个是耶利哥王，一个是靠近伯特利的艾城王，一个是耶路撒冷王，一个是希伯仑王，一个是耶末王，一个是拉吉王，一个是伊矶伦王，一个是基色王，一个是底璧王，一个是基德王，一个是何珥玛王，一个是亚拉得王，一个是立拿王，一个是亚杜兰王，一个是玛基大王，一个是伯特利王，一个是他普亚王，一个是希弗王，一个是亚弗王，一个是拉沙仑王，一个是玛顿王，一个是夏琐王，一个是伸仑米仑王，一个是押煞王，一个是他纳王，一个是米吉多王，一个是基低斯王，一个是靠近迦密的约念王，一个是多珥山冈的多珥王，一个是吉甲的戈印王，一个是得撒王；共计三十一个王。

看哪，众王会合，一同经过。他们见了这城就惊奇丧胆，急忙逃跑。他们在那里被战兢疼痛抓住，好像产难的妇人一样。

因怕她的痛苦，就远远地站着说：“哀哉！哀哉！巴比伦大城，坚固的城啊，一时之间你的刑罚就来到了。”

“我从以色列人面前除灭亚摩利人。他虽高大如香柏树，坚固如橡树，我却上灭他的果子，下绝他的根本。

原来这基遍人不是以色列人，乃是亚摩利人中所剩的；以色列人曾向他们起誓，不杀灭他们，扫罗却为以色列人和犹大人发热心，想要杀灭他们。大卫王召了他们来，

耶和华就把他们付与在夏琐作王的迦南王耶宾手中；他的将军是西西拉，住在外邦人的夏罗设。

到了早晨，拿八醒了酒，他的妻将这些事都告诉他，他就魂不附体，身僵如石头一般。

就变了脸色，心意惊惶，腰骨好像脱节，双膝彼此相碰，

外邦人听见就发颤；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那时，以东的族长惊惶，摩押的英雄被战兢抓住，迦南的居民心都消化了。

耶和华以色列的神在他百姓以色列面前赶出亚摩利人，你竟要得他们的地吗？

约书亚死后，以色列人求问耶和华说：“我们中间谁当首先上去攻击迦南人，与他们争战？”

迦南生长子西顿，又生赫和耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、希未人、亚基人、西尼人、亚瓦底人、洗玛利人、哈马人，后来迦南的诸族分散了。迦南的境界是从西顿向基拉耳的路上，直到迦萨，又向所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁的路上，直到拉沙。

若是你们以侍奉耶和华为不好，今日就可以选择所要侍奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边所侍奉的神呢？是你们所住这地的亚摩利人的神呢？至于我和我家，我们必定侍奉耶和华。”

他们问你说：‘为何叹息呢？’你就说：‘因为有风声、灾祸要来。人心都必消化，手都发软，精神衰败，膝弱如水。看哪，这灾祸临近，必然成就。这是主耶和华说的。’”

山地也要归你，虽是树林，你也可以砍伐；靠近之地必归你。迦南人虽有铁车，虽是强盛，你也能把他们赶出去。”

这事做完了，众首领来见我，说：“以色列民和祭司并利未人，没有离绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人、亚摩利人，仍效法这些国的民，行可憎的事。

你们要哀号，因为耶和华的日子临近了！这日来到，好像毁灭从全能者来到。所以，人手都必软弱；人心都必消化。他们必惊惶悲痛；愁苦必将他们抓住。他们疼痛，好像产难的妇人一样，彼此惊奇相看，脸如火焰。

当那日，耶和华与亚伯兰立约，说：“我已赐给你的后裔，从埃及河直到幼发拉底大河之地，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

并且我从前用弓用刀从亚摩利人手下夺的那块地，我都赐给你，使你比众弟兄多得一份。”

亚伯兰经过那地，到了示剑地方、摩利橡树那里。那时迦南人住在那地。

所留下的就是非利士的五个首领和一切迦南人、西顿人，并住黎巴嫩山的希未人，从巴力黑们山直到哈马口。

只是玛拿西子孙不能赶出这些城的居民，迦南人偏要住在那地。
