命之曰、爾自約但河中、於祭司足立之所、取石十二、負之過河、置於今夜將宿之處、

and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”

Tell them to get 12 stones from the middle of the river. They must pick them up from right where the priests stood. They must carry the stones over with all of you. And they must put them down at the place where you will stay tonight.”

and command them, saying,‘ Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”

Tell them,‘ Take twelve stones from the very place where the priests are standing in the middle of the Jordan. Carry them out and pile them up at the place where you will camp tonight.’”

and command them: Take twelve stones from this place in the middle of the Jordan where the priests are standing, carry them with you, and set them down at the place where you spend the night.”

and command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of the Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, and carry them over with you, and lay them down in the lodging- place, where ye shall lodge this night.

and command them: Take 12 stones from this place in the middle of the Jordan where the priests are standing, carry them with you, and set them down at the place where you spend the night.”

And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.

Instruct them,‘ Pick up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests stand firmly, and carry them over with you and put them in the place where you camp tonight.’”

and command them, saying,‘ Take from out of the middle of the Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, carry them over with you, and lay them down in the place where you’ll camp tonight.’”

Now the people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and they camped in Gilgal on the east border of Jericho.And those twelve stones which they took out of the Jordan, Joshua set up in Gilgal.

And the children of Israel did so, just as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones from the midst of the Jordan, as the Lord had spoken to Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them to the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.

And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”

Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying,“ Thus far the Lord has helped us.”

The Lord is in His holy temple, The LORD’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.

And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

But He answered and said to them,“ I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness to us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord which He spoke to us. It shall therefore be a witness to you, lest you deny your God.”

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:

Now Moses, with the elders of Israel, commanded the people, saying:“ Keep all the commandments which I command you today.And it shall be, on the day when you cross over the Jordan to the land which the Lord your God is giving you, that you shall set up for yourselves large stones, and whitewash them with lime.You shall write on them all the words of this law, when you have crossed over, that you may enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you,‘ a land flowing with milk and honey,’ just as the Lord God of your fathers promised you.Therefore it shall be, when you have crossed over the Jordan, that on Mount Ebal you shall set up these stones, which I command you today, and you shall whitewash them with lime.And there you shall build an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones; you shall not use an iron tool on them.You shall build with whole stones the altar of the Lord your God, and offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God.You shall offer peace offerings, and shall eat there, and rejoice before the Lord your God.And you shall write very plainly on the stones all the words of this law.”Then Moses and the priests, the Levites, spoke to all Israel, saying,“ Take heed and listen, O Israel: This day you have become the people of the Lord your God.Therefore you shall obey the voice of the Lord your God, and observe His commandments and His statutes which I command you today.”And Moses commanded the people on the same day, saying,“ These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have crossed over the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin;and these shall stand on Mount Ebal to curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.“ And the Levites shall speak with a loud voice and say to all the men of Israel:‘ Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’“ And all the people shall answer and say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s landmark.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who makes the blind to wander off the road.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who perverts the justice due the stranger, the fatherless, and widow.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s bed.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with any kind of animal.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with his mother-in-law.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who attacks his neighbor secretly.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law by observing them.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’”
