and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”

Tell them to get 12 stones from the middle of the river. They must pick them up from right where the priests stood. They must carry the stones over with all of you. And they must put them down at the place where you will stay tonight.”

and command them, saying,‘ Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”

正月十日、人民從約但河裏上來，就在吉甲、耶利哥東邊紮營。他們從約但河裏取來的那十二塊石頭、約書亞給立在吉甲。

以色列人就照約書亞所吩咐的這樣去行；他們照永恆主所告訴約書亞的、按以色列人族派的數目、從約但河中間、拿起十二塊石頭來，帶着過河，到住宿的地方，就放在那裏。

等到抬全地之主永恆主之櫃那祭司的腳一插在約但河水裏，約但河的水就會被截斷，那從上邊往下流的水便會站住、成為一壘。

撒母耳將一塊石頭安放在米斯巴與耶沙拿之間，給石頭起名叫以便以謝，說：『這是永恆主幫助我們的證據。』

永恆主在他的聖殿堂；永恆主的寶座在天上；他的眼觀看着世界，他的眼目察驗着人類。

我所立為聖柱的這根石頭就必做上帝的殿；凡你所賜給我的、我必將十分之一獻與你。』

耶穌回答說：『我告訴你們，這些人若不作聲，石頭也會喊起來的！』

約書亞對眾民說：『看哪，這塊石頭可以對我們作證，因為它聽見了永恆主同我們所說的一切話；所以這塊石頭要對你們作證，免得你們否認你們的上帝。』

我的心哪，你要祝頌永恆主；不可忘記他的一切恩待：

摩西和以色列的長老們吩咐人民說：『你們要遵守我今日所吩咐你們的一切誡命。將來你們過約但河、到了永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的地那一天，你要立起幾塊大石頭，墁上石灰。你過去以後、要把這律法的一切話寫在那上頭，好使你進永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的地、流奶與蜜之地，正如永恆主你列祖的上帝對你所應許過的。將來你們過了約但河，就要在以巴路山上、照我今日所吩咐你們的、把這些石頭立起來，墁上石灰。在那裏你要為永恆主你的上帝築一座祭壇；在石頭上你不可動鐵器。你要用沒有鑿過的整塊石頭為永恆主你的上帝築祭壇；在祭壇上向永恆主你的上帝獻上燔祭；也宰獻平安祭，在那裏喫，在永恆主你的上帝面前歡樂。你要將這律法的一切話寫在石頭上，很仔細地寫得清清楚楚。』摩西和祭司利未人告訴以色列眾人說：『以色列啊，你要默默靜聽；今天這日子你已成為永恆主你的上帝的人民了。所以你要聽永恆主你的上帝的聲音，遵行他的誡命律例、就是我今日所吩咐你的。』當那一天摩西吩咐人民說：『你們過了約但河，以下這些支派的人、西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫、要站在基利心山上給人民祝福；以下這些支派的人、如便、迦得、亞設、西布倫、但、拿弗他利、要站在以巴路山上說咒詛的話。利未人要向以色列眾人高聲應對地說：『「造永恆主所厭惡、匠人的手所作的雕像或鑄像，暗中立着的、那人必受咒詛」；眾民都要答應說：「阿們。」『「輕慢父親或母親的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「挪移鄰舍地界的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「使瞎子在路上走錯的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「對寄居者和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「和父親續娶的妻子同寢的、必受咒詛，因為他露現父親的衣邊」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「和任何種牲口同寢的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「和自己的姐妹、無論是異母同父，或異父同母的姐妹同寢的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「和岳母同寢的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「暗中擊殺鄰舍的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「受賄賂擊殺人、流無辜之血的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」『「不堅信這律法的話而遵行的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」
