Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant:‘ When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.’”

Speak to the priests who carry the ark of the covenant. Tell them,‘ When you reach the edge of the Jordan River, go into the water and stand there.’ ”

And as for you, command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant,‘ When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’”

Give this command to the priests who carry the Ark of the Covenant:‘ When you reach the banks of the Jordan River, take a few steps into the river and stop there.’”

Command the priests carrying the ark of the covenant: When you reach the edge of the water, stand in the Jordan.”

So you shall command the priests who are carrying the ark of the covenant, saying,‘ When you come to the edge of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’ ”

You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying,‘ When you have come to the edge of the water of the Jordan, you shall stand in the Jordan.’”

And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, ye shall stand still in the Jordan.

爾見祭司利未人、舁爾上帝耶和華法匱、則必遄征、從行其後、

舁耶和華法匱之祭司、在約但河中、立於燥土、待以色列族、盡過約但、若行陸地然。

摩西曰、毋懼、耶和華拯爾、可立而待、蓋今日所見之埃及人、後必不復見也。

希西家命獻燔於壇、始獻之際、吹角謳歌、頌讚耶和華、間以以色列王大闢之樂器。

在猶大地上帝使民一心、遵從王與群伯所傳耶和華命。○

大闢召祭司撒督、亞庇亞塔、亦召利未人、烏列、亞帥亞、約耳、示罵雅、以列、亞米拿達、告之曰、爾曹為利未族之最著者、爾與同宗當潔己、舁以色列上帝耶和華之匱、至我預備之所。

導利未人及祭司入、集於東院、告之曰、利未人宜聽我言、爾當潔己、列祖上帝耶和華之殿、亦宜潔、去聖所之污衊、蓋我諸父曾犯罪作惡於我上帝耶和華前不敬聖室、塞其廡門、滅其明燈、不在聖所焚香燔祭、奉事以色列族之上帝。耶和華降災於猶大族耶路撒冷民、俾其困苦、人見之駭異、作怨憤之聲、今日之事為證。我諸父見殺、妻孥被虜、悉由此起。我欲與以色列族之上帝耶和華約、望息震怒。我國之赤子、毋怠荒、蓋耶和華遴選爾曹、使立於前、供役焚香。

我使利未人、潔其身體、防範邑門、恪守安息日、以為聖日、我既行此、望上帝垂念、恆懷矜憫、宥我罪愆。

其名臚列於左、哈沙庇、示哩比、甲滅子耶書亞、及其同宗、班列攸分、兩旁對立、頌讚上帝、循上帝僕大闢之命。馬大尼、八布迦、阿巴底、米書闌、達門、亞谷、咸為閽人、職司內庫。當約薩撻孫、耶書亞子約雅金、方伯尼希米、選士祭司以士喇之時、上所載數人、猶存於世。耶路撒冷邑垣、功既告成、利未人散處於四方者、民導之以至、歡然欣喜、守告成之節、謳歌、敲鈸、鳴琴、鼓瑟、頌讚上帝。昔謳歌者築廬於耶路撒冷四方之平原、或在尼陀法鄉里、或在吉甲、或在基巴、押馬弗田間、斯時咸集、歸於都城。

問祭司利未人曰、何從積之若邱如此耶。撒督族祭司長亞薩哩亞對曰、耶和華錫嘏於民、民獻禮物於殿、我儕食有贏餘、此特其餘耳。

亦使利未人、示罵雅、尼大尼、西巴地、亞撒黑、示米喇末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多庇亞、奪亞多尼雅、偕祭司以利沙馬、約蘭、執耶和華律例之書、遍猶大諸邑、訓迪民人。

祭司長、以利亞實孫、耶何耶大子、娶和倫人撒八拉女、故我逐之、

惟耶和華是賴、望其拯救、必蒙福祉兮。

希西家王與群伯、使利未人、誦大闢及先見者、亞薩之詞、頌讚耶和華、欣喜謳歌、俯伏再拜。

咸至、集其同儔、各潔其身、肅清殿宇、循王所傳耶和華之命。

俾祭司守職、凡供役於殿者則勞之。利未人潔己、奉事耶和華、以其道訓迪以色列人、約西亞告之曰、以色列王大闢子所羅門所建之殿、當置聖匱於中、毋庸肩負、役事爾之上帝耶和華、輔翼以色列民、爾當自備、按爾譜系、循爾班列、遵以色列王大闢及其子所羅門命、凡利未族可依同儕以色列之支派、立於聖所、宰逾越節羔、自潔其身、使爾同宗咸潔、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。
