and as soon as those bearing the ark had come as far as the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were dipped in the brink of the water( now the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest),

It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge,

正月約但漲溢、斯眾濟河、使居谷中之民逃遁、東西皆然、

舁耶和華約匱之祭司、既自約但而上、立足陸地、河水復流原處、漲溢於岸如故、

祭司舁全地主宰耶和華之約匱、立足約但水中時、水必斷流、自上而下之水、必立為堆、

人足將踐之、貧窮困乏者之步履蹂躪之、

屆亞筆月、必為爾上帝耶和華守逾越節、因於是月之夜、爾上帝耶和華導爾出埃及、必在耶和華所選寄名之處、獻牛羊於爾上帝耶和華、以為逾越之祭、毋食有酵之餅、七日之內、必食無酵餅、即困苦餅、以爾昔出埃及維速、當憶是日、畢生勿忘、七日間、爾四境毋存酵、首日薄暮、所獻祭肉、毋留於明晨、勿於爾上帝耶和華所賜諸邑、獻逾越之祭、惟獻於爾上帝耶和華所選寄名之處、在薄暮日入時、即爾出埃及時也、在爾上帝耶和華所選之處、烹而食之、明晨歸於己幕、六日間、必食無酵餅、越至七日、必有肅會、以事爾上帝耶和華、是日不可操作、○當核七七日、自刈麥之首日始、

以色列人建營於吉甲、至月之十四日夕、守逾越節於耶利哥平原、翌日、民食其地所產、無酵之餅、火烘之穀、既食其地所產、翌日瑪那遂止、以色列人不復得之、是年食迦南土產、○
