時值收穫、約但水溢於岸、舁約匱之祭司至河、足濡於水、

Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge,

The water of the Jordan was going over its banks. It always does that at the time the crops are being gathered. The priests came to the river. Their feet touched the water’s edge.

and as soon as those bearing the ark had come as far as the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were dipped in the brink of the water( now the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest),

It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge,

Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season. But as soon as the priests carrying the ark reached the Jordan, their feet touched the water at its edge

and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark stepped down into the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest),

and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest),

Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season. But as soon as the priests carrying the ark reached the Jordan, their feet touched the water at its edge

And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water,( for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

When the ones carrying the ark reached the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark touched the surface of the water–( the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest time)–

and when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark had dipped in the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest),

These are they that went over the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east and toward the west.

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and though in a land of peace thou art secure, yet how wilt thou do in the pride of the Jordan?

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation: for I will suddenly make them run away from it; and whoso is chosen, him will I appoint over it: for who is like me? and who will appoint me a time? and who is the shepherd that will stand before me?

And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah were come up out of the midst of the Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry ground, that the waters of the Jordan returned unto their place, and went over all its banks, as aforetime.

And it shall come to pass, when the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of Jehovah, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, even the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand in one heap.

The foot shall tread it down; even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.

Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto Jehovah thy God; for in the month of Abib Jehovah thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.And thou shalt sacrifice the passover unto Jehovah thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Jehovah shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.And there shall be no leaven seen with thee in all thy borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which thou sacrificest the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee;but at the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Jehovah thy God; thou shalt do no work therein.Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: from the time thou beginnest to put the sickle to the standing grain shalt thou begin to number seven weeks.

And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal; and they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.And they did eat of the produce of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes and parched grain, in the selfsame day.And the manna ceased on the morrow, after they had eaten of the produce of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring the sheaf of the first- fruits of your harvest unto the priest:and he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.And in the day when ye wave the sheaf, ye shall offer a he- lamb without blemish a year old for a burnt- offering unto Jehovah.And the meal- offering thereof shall be two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah for a sweet savor; and the drink- offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor fresh ears, until this selfsame day, until ye have brought the oblation of your God: it is a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave- offering; seven sabbaths shall there be complete:even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meal- offering unto Jehovah.
