Then I brought you to the land of the Amorites, who lived on the other side of the Jordan. They fought with you, and I gave them into your hand, and you took possession of their land, and I destroyed them before you.

“ Finally, I brought you into the land of the Amorites on the east side of the Jordan. They fought against you, but I destroyed them before you. I gave you victory over them, and you took possession of their land.

“‘ Later, I brought you to the land of the Amorites who lived beyond the Jordan. They fought against you, but I handed them over to you. You possessed their land, and I annihilated them before you.

Then I brought you into the land of the Amorites, who lived beyond the Jordan, and they fought with you; but I handed them over to you, and you took possession of their land when I eliminated them before you.

以色列人遣使往見亞摩利王西宏曰、容我過爾地、我不入田畝、不入葡萄園、不飲井中之水、但由大道大道原文作王道而行、以過爾境、西宏不容以色列人過其境、乃集眾民、出至曠野、欲攻以色列人、至雅哈斯、與以色列人戰、以色列人以刃擊之、奪其地、自亞嫩至雅博、直至亞捫族之地、因亞捫族邊界之地、甚為險固、以色列人取亞摩利人諸邑、居於其中、即希實本與其一切鄉里、希實本乃亞摩利王西宏之都城、昔西宏與摩押先王戰、盡取其地、直至亞嫩、故作歌者云、爾來至希實本、西宏之邑、被建被造、火自希實本而發、烈焰出自西宏都、焚燬摩押之亞珥、焚燬亞嫩溪旁巴末之居民、巴末之居民或作崇邱之居民摩押人歟、爾有禍、基抹民歟、爾已滅亡、其男奔逃、其女被掠、為亞摩利王西宏所擄、我已射之、希實本以及底本偕亡、我已盡滅之、直至挪法、近米底巴、○於是以色列人居亞摩利地、摩西遣人窺探雅塞、遂據其鄉、驅逐居彼之亞摩利人、以色列人轉向巴珊而上、巴珊王噩帥其眾民、迎攻以色列人、至以得來與之戰、主諭摩西曰、毋畏之、我必將此王與其人民土地、付於爾手、爾可滅之、如滅都於希實本之亞摩利王西宏然、於是以色列民擊敗巴珊王、戮其諸子及其眾民、一無所遺、遂得其地、

於是西宏帥其眾民、出以敵我、至耶哈斯與我戰、主我之天主、付之於我儕、我儕擊之、及其諸子眾民、當時我儕取其諸邑、以諸邑之民、男女以及嬰孩、盡行殲滅、一無所遺、惟牲畜及邑中貨財、為我儕所得、自亞嫩溪濱之亞羅珥及谷中之邑、谷中之邑或作州中之邑至於基列、無鞏固之城、我儕所不能取者、主我之天主盡付於我儕、惟亞捫人之境、凡沿雅博溪之地、山中諸邑、及主我之天主所禁者、爾未就近以攻之、我儕遂往巴珊、巴珊王噩帥其軍眾、出以敵我、至以得來與我戰、主諭我曰、毋畏之、我以彼及其軍眾土地付於爾手、爾必待之、與昔待居希實本之亞摩利王西宏無異、於是主我之天主以巴珊王噩及其軍眾付於我手、我擊殺之、一無所遺、當時我儕取其諸邑、共六十邑、無邑不為我所得、得亞珥歌伯全境、即巴珊王噩之國在巴珊者、此諸邑俱有鞏固之高城、與門與楗、此外更取無城之鄉邑甚多、我殲滅之、滅諸邑之民、男女以及嬰孩、如行於希實本王西宏然、惟牲畜及諸邑之貨財、為我所得、

主賜之以邦國、使其四方得地、得西宏之地、希實本王之地、巴珊王噩之地、

及都希實本、亞摩利王西宏之諸邑、至亞捫人之交界、

攻擊多國、誅殺強大之君王、即亞摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩並滅迦南諸國、
