And Eleazar son of Aaron died and was buried at Gibeah, which had been allotted to his son Phinehas in the hill country of Ephraim.

For he seeth[ that] wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Your fathers, where[ are] they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

And these[ are the countries] which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them.

And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered[ unto his people], and shall die there.And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest[ shall be] chief over the chief of the Levites,[ and have] the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth[ it] to heart: and merciful men[ are] taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil[ to come].He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds,[ each one] walking[ in] his uprightness.

But this[ man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for tomorrow I will deliver them into thine hand.

For I know[ that] thou wilt bring me[ to] death, and[ to] the house appointed for all living.
