永恆主你的上帝將他們交在你面前去擊敗的時候，你務要把他們都盡行殺滅歸神；不可和他們立約，也不可恩待他們。不可和他們結親；不可將你的女兒嫁給他們的兒子，也不可使你的兒子娶他們的女兒。

尼波、巴力免（以上的兩個名字有改了的）、西比瑪，又給他們所修建的城市另起了別名。

我必從我人民口中除掉諸巴力的名號；他們必不再以其名號而被提起。

別一同有分於黑暗之無善果行為了；寧可訐發出來。

惡人的路徑你不可進；壞人的路你不可行。

你們若稍微轉離，去緊依附着這些在你們中間剩下來的餘留之國的人，而和他們彼此結親，攙雜通婚，

別跟不信者異類同軛相配偶了：義和不法怎能合夥呢？光對暗有甚麼團契呢？基督對彼列怎能和諧呢？信的同不信的有甚麼共同分兒？上帝的殿堂同偶像怎能符合呢？我們呢、就是永活上帝的殿堂。正如上帝所說的：『我要在他們裏面居住；我要在他們中間往來；我要做他們的上帝；他們必做我的子民。』所以『主說：你們要從他們中間出來，自己分別出來；不潔淨之物別接觸了；我就收納你們』；

別自己錯誤了；『濫交惡友、敗壞善德』。

不可敬拜它們，也不可事奉它們，因為我永恆主你的上帝是忌邪的上帝；恨我的、我必察罰他們的罪愆、從父親到兒子、到三四代。
