The first lot came out for the Kohathites, according to their clans. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin.

The first lot drawn out was for the people of Kohath, according to their family groups. Some of the Levites came from the family line of Aaron the priest. They were given 13 towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin.

The lot came out for the clans of the Kohathites. So those Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin, thirteen cities.

The descendants of Aaron, who were members of the Kohathite clan within the tribe of Levi, were allotted thirteen towns that were originally assigned to the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

The lot came out for the Kohathite clans: The Levites who were the descendants of the priest Aaron received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

Then the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. And to the sons of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, thirteen cities were given by lot from the tribe of Judah, from the tribe of the Simeonites, and from the tribe of Benjamin.

Now the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. And the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot from the tribe of Judah, from the tribe of Simeon, and from the tribe of Benjamin.

亞倫族哥轄子孫、掣籤所得之里居鄉黨、臚列如左、在猶大地得希伯崙及其郊。惟其土田、為耶孚尼子迦勒所得。亞倫族在猶大地、得希伯崙、為逋逃之藪、亦得立拿及其郊、雅的、以實提摩及其郊、希倫及其郊、底必及其郊、亞山及其郊、伯示麥及其郊。在便雅憫支派中、哥轄子孫得基巴及其郊、亞勒門及其郊、亞拿突及其郊、計十三邑。

亞倫子以利亞撒死、葬於以法蓮山、其子非尼哈所得之岡。

以上所載諸邑與郊、乃以色列族掣籤予利未人、循耶和華所諭摩西之命。○猶大西面二支派、所予之邑、臚列於左、利未支派、哥轄族、亞倫子孫、首掣籤而得邑。乃猶大山地、基列亞巴邑、即希伯崙及其郊。亞巴即亞納父也。惟邑郊之田、與其鄉里、咸歸耶孚尼子迦勒為業。給祭司亞倫子孫者、希伯崙與其郊、為誤殺人者、逋逃之藪、又給立拿與其郊、雅的與其郊、以實提摩與其郊、何倫與其郊、底必與其郊、亞因與其郊、若大與其郊、伯示麥與其郊、斯二支派所給者、共九邑。便雅憫支派給基遍與其郊、基巴與其郊、亞拿突與其郊、亞勒門與其郊、共四邑。於是祭司亞倫所得者、共得十三邑、與其郊。○
