當那些日子、那時候、永恆主發神諭說、以色列的罪孽雖被尋找，也一無所有；猶大的罪雖被追究，也一無所見；因為我所留下的人、我必赦免。

安息日的前一天、在耶路撒冷的城門、黃昏時候，我就吩咐人將門扇關閉着；我吩咐說、非過安息日不准開。我又派我的僮僕人在各城門站崗，免得有人在安息之日挑擔子進來。

他帶了我回到殿門；看哪，有水從殿的門限下往東流出呢；殿的正面原是朝東的；這水從殿的右邊、祭壇的南邊往下流。他領了我取道北門而出，又帶了我取道外邊轉到朝東的外門；只見有水從南邊流出。

那城的門白晝必總不關，（那裏原沒有黑夜）。

但上帝的真實如果因我的虛假越發彰顯他的榮耀來，為甚麼我還被斷為罪人呢？難道要說：「讓我們作惡，使善來到」麼？（這是我們所受的毁謗；有人說我們曾說了這話）：這樣辯論的人之受定罪、是該當的。
