那些人就往约旦河的渡口追赶他们去了。追赶他们的人一出去，城门就关了。

在河这边与那边的岸上必生长各类的树木；其果可作食物，叶子不枯干，果子不断绝。每月必结新果子，因为这水是从圣所流出来的。树上的果子必作食物，叶子乃为治病。”

在安息日的前一日，耶路撒冷城门有黑影的时候，我就吩咐人将门关锁，不过安息日不准开放。我又派我几个仆人管理城门，免得有人在安息日担什么担子进城。

他带我回到殿门，见殿的门槛下有水往东流出（原来殿面朝东）。这水从槛下，由殿的右边，在祭坛的南边往下流。他带我出北门，又领我从外边转到朝东的外门，见水从右边流出。

城门白昼总不关闭，在那里原没有黑夜。

若神的真实，因我的虚谎越发显出他的荣耀，为什么我还受审判，好像罪人呢？为什么不说，我们可以作恶以成善呢？这是毁谤我们的人说我们有这话。这等人定罪是该当的。
