二人对她说：“你叫我们所起的誓与我们无关，

二人就對她說：『以下這幾件事你總要行，不然、你叫我們起的誓就與我們無干了。

二人曰、爾使我所發之誓、我必守之而無咎、

二人曰、爾既用絳索以縋我、必以此索、仍繫於牖、集爾父母兄弟戚屬、至於斯室、厥後我儕至斯土、則爾使我所發之誓、我必恪守。

二人對曰、爾使我所發之誓、我必守之而不失信、

Now the men had said to her,“ This oath you made us swear will not be binding on us

The spies had said to her,“ You made us give our word. But we won’t keep our promise

The men said to her,“ We will be guiltless with respect to this oath of yours that you have made us swear.

Before they left, the men told her,“ We will be bound by the oath we have taken only if you follow these instructions.

The men said to her,“ We will be free from this oath you made us swear,

And the men said to her,“ We shall be exempt from this oath to you which you have made us swear,

So the men said to her:“ We will be blameless of this oath of yours which you have made us swear,

And the men said unto her, We will be guiltless of this thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

The men said to her,“ We will be free from this oath you made us swear,

And the men said unto her, We[ will be] blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.

The men said to her,“ We are not bound by this oath you made us swear unless the following conditions are met:

The men said to her,“ We will be guiltless of this your oath which you’ve made us to swear.

“你们不可偷盗，不可欺骗，也不可彼此说谎。不可指着我的名起假誓，亵渎你神的名。我是耶和华。

人若向耶和华许愿或起誓，要约束自己，就不可食言，必须照口中所出的一切话去做。

王顾惜扫罗的孙子，约拿单的儿子米非波设，因为在大卫和扫罗的儿子约拿单之间，有指着耶和华的誓言。

大卫在位年间有饥荒，一连三年，大卫求问耶和华，耶和华说：“扫罗和他家犯了流人血之罪，因为他杀死了基遍人。”大卫王召了基遍人来，跟他们说话。基遍人不是以色列人，而是亚摩利人中所剩下的人。以色列人曾向他们起誓，扫罗却为以色列人和犹大人大发热心，追杀他们，为了要消灭他们。

你若泄漏我们这件事，你叫我们所起的誓就与我们无关了。”

“不可妄称耶和华—你神的名，因为妄称耶和华名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。

我要叫你指着耶和华—天和地的神起誓，不要为我儿子娶我所居住的迦南地的女子为妻。你要往我的本地本族去，为我的儿子以撒娶妻。”仆人对他说：“如果那女子不肯跟我来到这地，我必须把你的儿子带回到你出来的地方吗？”亚伯拉罕对他说：“你要谨慎，不可带我儿子回那里去。耶和华—天上的神曾带领我离开父家和本族的地，对我说话，向我起誓说：‘我要将这地赐给你的后裔。’他要差遣使者在你面前，你就可以从那里为我儿子娶妻。倘若那女子不肯跟你来，我叫你起的誓就与你无关了，只是你不可带我的儿子回到那里去。”
