斯土既服、以色列會眾集於示羅、而立會幕、

猶大族中、代有秉鈞執政之人、待賜安者至、民咸歸之。

我父家多第宅、否則我必告爾、我往為爾備所居、若往備所居、必復來接爾歸我、我所在、使爾亦在、

倘昔約書亞曾以安息賜民、則上帝必不復言異日賜之、由是而觀、後必有安息、上帝將賜其民、

為爾分業者、祭司以利亞撒、嫩之子約書亞、及各支派之牧伯、猶大支派、耶孚尼子迦勒、西面支派、亞米忽子示母利、便雅憫支派、其斯倫子以利撻、但支派之牧伯、約利子布基、約瑟子馬拿西支派之牧伯、以佛子漢業、以法蓮支派之牧伯、拾但子基母利、西布倫支派之牧伯、帕納子以利撒番、以薩迦支派之牧伯、押散子巴鐵、亞設支派之牧伯、示羅米子亞希忽、納大利支派之牧伯、亞米忽子比大黑。以上所載、即耶和華命、以迦南地分以色列族為業者。

昔以示羅為籲我名之所、以色列族作惡、我既有以處之矣。爾可往觀。耶和華又曰、爾既作此、我數告爾、爾弗聽、我屢召爾、爾不諾、故我所錫爾祖、及爾之地、與斯殿為籲我名之所、爾所恃者、我必敗之、如昔敗示羅然。

昔上帝在人間、擇示羅之幕以駐蹕、今則遐棄之兮、

以利迦拿歲住示羅、崇拜祭祀萬有之主耶和華、時以利二子何弗尼非尼哈為耶和華之祭司。

爾既以萬民之權賜我、則我以永生賜爾所予我之人、

又曰、近示羅、在利波拿南、伯特利北、自伯特利往示劍道之東、歲有節禮、奉事耶和華、

王謂在右者曰、爾見寵於我父、可前而得國、乃創世以來、為爾所備者也、

曰、我飲之杯、爾將飲之、我受之洗、爾將受之、但坐我左右、非我得與、惟與夫我父備位以待之者、○
