王权必不离犹大，御杖必伴他左右，直到那位执掌王权的来到，万民都必归顺他。

我父的家里有许多住处，不然我就不会说去为你们安排地方了。我安排好了以后，必定回来接你们到我那里。我在哪里，让你们也在哪里。

如果当初约书亚已经让他们得到了安息，上帝就不必另定一个日子了。这样说来，必定另有一个安息日为上帝的子民存留，使他们可以真正安歇。

“负责给你们分地的是以利亚撒祭司和嫩的儿子约书亚。每支派要选出一位首领来协助分地。“以下是这些首领的名字：犹大支派耶孚尼的儿子迦勒，西缅支派亚米忽的儿子示姆利，便雅悯支派基斯伦的儿子以利达，但支派约利的儿子布基，约瑟之子玛拿西支派以弗的儿子汉聂，以法莲支派拾弗但的儿子基姆利，西布伦支派帕纳的儿子以利撒番，以萨迦支派阿散的儿子帕铁，亚设支派示罗米的儿子亚希忽，拿弗他利支派亚米忽的儿子比达黑。”这些是奉耶和华之命在迦南给以色列人分产业的首领。

“‘你们去我曾选为我名所在之地的示罗，看看我是怎样因我以色列子民的罪而惩罚那地方的。我对你们的所作所为一再提出警告，你们却充耳不闻；我呼唤你们，你们却不回应。这是耶和华说的。因此，我要像对付示罗一样对付你们所倚靠的这用来敬拜我的殿，对付我赐给你们和你们祖先的土地。

祂离弃了设在示罗的圣幕，就是祂在人间的居所。

以利加拿每年都从家乡到示罗去敬拜万军之耶和华，献上祭物。当时以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈在那里做耶和华的祭司。

因为你把管理世人的权柄赐给了祂，使祂可以将永生赐予你交托给祂的人。

有人想起在示罗每年都有耶和华的节期。示罗在利波拿以南、伯特利以北至示剑的大路东面。

那时，王会对右边的人说，‘我父所赐福的人啊，来承受创世以来为你们预备的国度吧。

耶稣对他们说：“我要喝的那一杯，你们也要喝。不过谁坐在我的左右不是我来定，而是我父为谁预备的，就让谁坐。”
