其界通便欣嫩子之谷、在耶布士邑、即耶路撒冷南、又至便欣嫩谷之西山、即哩乏音谷北。

撒母耳遄征、自吉甲往便雅憫之其庇亞。掃羅核其從者、計六百人。掃羅及其子約拿單與其從者、俱居於便雅憫之其庇亞、非利士人建營於密抹。

掃羅歸其庇亞、為上帝所感者群然從之、

已濟厥河、宿於基巴、拉馬之民無不震慴、掃羅之其庇亞人、靡不遁逃。

耶和華曰、昔在其庇亞、以色列族犯罪、至於今、若出一轍、余將降災於惡人、其庇亞之民豈能逭罰、

主曰、此邑屬於外人、非屬以色列族者、不可入。至其庇亞可也。又曰、有其庇亞、有拉馬、於二者中、可簡其一而宿。遂往前途、近便雅憫族之其庇亞時、日已入。至其庇亞欲宿、入邑坐於衢、無人晉接於室、而留其宿。

人眾則給地亦多、人寡則給地亦減、依其所核之數、各給以地。

死妾之夫、利未人對曰、我與妾至便雅憫之其庇亞、止宿於彼、迨夕其庇亞人攻我、環繞於室、群欲殺我、遂辱我妾、致之於死。

又至便欣嫩谷前之山麓、即哩乏音谷北隅、下至便欣嫩之谷、在耶布士邑南、延宴羅結。

耶布士人、即耶路撒冷居民也、猶大族不能驅之、與之同居、至於今日。

汝必掣籤分地、按爾戶口、人眾則給地亦多、人寡則給地亦減、各隨所掣之籤、循其世系、得此恆業。

時大闢曰、凡入暗竇、擊耶布士人、及我所惡之跛者瞽者、則可為軍長、蓋敵有言跛者瞽者尚存、則不得入室。
