but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have chariots fitted with iron and though they are strong, you can drive them out.”

You will also have the central hill country. It’s covered with trees. Cut them down and clear the land. That whole land from one end to the other will belong to you. The Canaanites use chariots that have iron parts. And those people are strong. But you can drive them out.”

but the hill country shall be yours, for though it is a forest, you shall clear it and possess it to its farthest borders. For you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong.”

The forests of the hill country will be yours as well. Clear as much of the land as you wish, and take possession of its farthest corners. And you will drive out the Canaanites from the valleys, too, even though they are strong and have iron chariots.”

那麼，對這些事我們要怎麼說呢？神如果支持我們，誰還能反對我們呢？

所以，我們可以滿懷勇氣地說：「主是我的幫助，我就不懼怕，人能把我怎麼樣呢？」

然而，靠著愛我們的那一位，我們在這一切事上已經得勝有餘了。

耶和華是我的光，是我的救恩，我還怕誰呢？耶和華是我一生的保障，我還懼怕誰呢？那些作惡者，就是我的敵人、我的仇敵，他們逼近我、要吞噬我肉體的時候，就絆跌、仆倒。

你不要害怕，因為我與你同在；不要驚惶，因為我是你的神。我必堅固你，必定幫助你，必定用我公義的右手扶持你。看哪！對你發怒的，都必蒙羞受辱；與你相爭的，都如同無有，必要滅亡。與你爭鬥的，你尋找他們，卻找不到；與你交戰的，都如同無有，如同虛無。因為我耶和華你的神，緊拉著你的右手，對你說：「不要害怕，我必幫助你！」幼蟲雅各啊，以色列人哪，不要害怕，我必幫助你！你的救贖主是以色列的聖者！這是耶和華的宣告。看哪！我要使你成為一個嶄新、銳利、多齒的打穀器具；你必脫打、磨碎群山，又使岡陵如同糠秕。你必簸揚它們，風就把它們吹去，狂風使它們四散；但你必因耶和華而快樂，因以色列的聖者而誇耀。

「我，是我安慰你們；你是誰，竟怕那必死的人，就是那被棄如草芥的世人；竟忘記了那造你的耶和華，就是展開諸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟終日不斷地懼怕，就是懼怕壓迫者預備行毀滅時的怒火！其實那壓迫者的怒火在哪裡呢？
