Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance.

So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.

to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah and its pasture lands around it;but they gave the fields of the city and its settlements to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

So they gave them Kiriath arba( Arba being the father of Anak), that is, Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with its surrounding pasture lands.But the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as his possession.

Then Joshua and all Israel with him went up from Eglon to Hebron, and they fought against it.And they captured it and struck it and its king and all its cities and all the persons who were in it with the edge of the sword. He left no survivor, according to all that he had done to Eglon. And he utterly destroyed it and every person who was in it.

Now he gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the sons of Judah, in accordance with the command of the Lord to Joshua, namely, Kiriath arba, Arba being the father of Anak( that is, Hebron).

Then Eli answered and said,“ Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your request that you have asked of Him.”

So Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from his presence.

Then Joseph brought his father Jacob and presented him to Pharaoh; and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

But my dove, my perfect one, is unique: She is her mother’s only daughter; She is the pure child of the one who gave birth to her. The young women saw her and called her blessed, The queens and the concubines also, and they praised her, saying,
