to the Canaanites in the east and west; to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites in the hill country; and to the Hivites below Hermon in the region of Mizpah.

Jabin sent the same message to the people of east Canaan and west Canaan. He sent it to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites. They lived in the central hill country. He also sent it to the Hivites who lived below Mount Hermon in the area of Mizpah.

以色列人說：「以色列各支派中，誰沒有同會眾一起上到耶和華那裏呢？」因為以色列人曾起重誓說：「凡不上米斯巴到耶和華那裏的，必被處死。」

至於我，我要住在米斯巴，侍候那些到我們這裏來的迦勒底人；只是你們當積蓄酒、油和夏天的果子，收藏在器皿裏，並住在你們所佔的城鎮中。」

以色列人住在迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人中間，

我的新娘，請你與我一同離開黎巴嫩，與我一同離開黎巴嫩。從亞瑪拿山巔，從示尼珥，就是黑門山頂，從獅子的洞，從豹子的山往下觀看。

南北為你所創造；他泊和黑門都因你的名歡呼。

天使向耶路撒冷伸手要毀滅這城的時候，耶和華改變心意，不降那災難，就對那在百姓中施行毀滅的天使說：「夠了！住手吧！」耶和華的使者正在耶布斯人亞勞拿的禾場那裏。

從亞嫩谷旁的亞羅珥，直到西雲山，就是黑門山，

撒母耳召集百姓到米斯巴耶和華那裏。

於是亞撒王向猶大眾人宣佈，不准任何人推辭，吩咐他們運走巴沙修築拉瑪所用的石頭和木料。亞撒王用它們來修築便雅憫的迦巴和米斯巴。

「耶和華－你的神領你進入你要得為業之地，從你面前趕出許多國家，就是比你更強大的七個國家：赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人。

耶利米就來到米斯巴，亞希甘的兒子基大利那裏去，與他同住，住在留於境內的百姓當中。

於是以色列眾人從但到別是巴，以及從基列地出來，如同一人，聚集在米斯巴耶和華那裏。

至於所有剩下的百姓，不屬以色列人的亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，
