to the Canaanites in the east and west; to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites in the hill country; and to the Hivites below Hermon in the region of Mizpah.

Jabin sent the same message to the people of east Canaan and west Canaan. He sent it to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites. They lived in the central hill country. He also sent it to the Hivites who lived below Mount Hermon in the area of Mizpah.

至於住在耶路撒冷的耶布斯人，猶大人不能把他們趕走；所以耶布斯人在耶路撒冷與猶大人同住，直到今日。

撒母耳又說：“你們要把以色列眾人都聚集在米斯巴，我好為你們向耶和華禱告。”於是，他們聚集在米斯巴，打了水，澆奠在耶和華面前；當日他們禁食，並且在那裡說：“我們得罪了耶和華。”撒母耳就在米斯巴治理以色列人。非利士人聽見以色列人集合在米斯巴，各城的領袖就上來攻打以色列人；以色列人聽見了，都害怕起來。

以色列人彼此說：“以色列各支派中，誰沒有與會眾上到耶和華面前來呢？”因為他們曾經起過很嚴厲的誓，說：“不上米斯巴到耶和華面前的，必把他處死。”

至於我，我要留在米斯巴，侍候那些來到我們這裡的迦勒底人。你們只管收存酒、夏天的果子和油，放在器皿裡，並且住在你們所佔有的城中。”

以色列人就住在迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人中間；

我的新婦啊！與我同去黎巴嫩山。與我前往黎巴嫩山。從亞瑪拿山頂，從示尼珥和黑門山頂，從獅子洞，從豹子山俯望。

南北都是你創造的，他泊和黑門都因你的名歡呼。

當天使向耶路撒冷伸手，要毀滅耶路撒冷的時候，耶和華就後悔降這災禍，就對那毀滅眾民的天使說：“夠了，現在住手吧！”那時，耶和華的天使在耶布斯人亞勞拿的打禾場那裡。

從亞嫩谷邊的亞羅珥，直到西雲山，西雲山就是黑門山；

撒母耳召集眾民到米斯巴耶和華那裡，

底連、米斯巴、約帖、

於是以實瑪利從米斯巴擄去的眾民都轉身，歸到加利亞的兒子約哈難那裡。

有亞瑪力人住在南地；赫人、耶布斯人、亞摩利人住在山地；迦南人住在海邊和約旦河沿岸。”

又好比黑門的甘露落在錫安的眾山上，在那裡有耶和華命定的福，就是永遠的生命。

以實瑪利也擊殺了所有在米斯巴和基大利一起的猶大人，以及在那裡所遇見的迦勒底軍兵。

他們又彼此問：“以色列各支派中，有誰沒有上米斯巴到耶和華面前來的呢？”他們就發現基列．雅比中沒有一人去到營中會眾那裡。

於是亞撒王通告猶大眾人，沒有一個人例外。他們就把巴沙修築拉瑪所用的石頭和木料運走；亞撒王用那些材料來修築便雅憫的迦巴和米斯巴。

“耶和華你的神領你進入你要去得為業的地，從你面前趕走許多民族，就是赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，共七個比你又大又強的民族。

耶利米就到米斯巴去見亞希甘的兒子基大利，和他一同住在那地剩下的人民中間。

於是以色列眾人都出來，從但到別是巴，以及基列地的眾人，都在米斯巴耶和華面前聚集起來如同一人。

所有亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人餘下的人，他們不是以色列人。
