So Joshua conquered the entire region— the hill country, the entire Negev, the whole area around the town of Goshen, the western foothills, the Jordan Valley, the mountains of Israel, and the Galilean foothills.

So Joshua took all this land— the hill country, all the Negev, all the land of Goshen, the foothills, the Arabah, and the hill country of Israel with its foothills—

So Joshua captured all that land, the hill country, all the South, all the land of Goshen, the lowland, the Arabah, the hill country of Israel, and the lowland of the same;

Joshua subdued them from Kadesh Barnea to Gaza and from the whole region of Goshen to Gibeon. (niv)

The lands included the hill country, the western foothills, the Arabah, the mountain slopes, the wilderness and the Negev. These were the lands of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. These were the kings: (niv)

At that time Joshua went and destroyed the Anakites from the hill country: from Hebron, Debir and Anab, from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel. Joshua totally destroyed them and their towns. (niv)

“ Command the Israelites and say to them:‘ When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is to have these boundaries:“‘ Your southern side will include some of the Desert of Zin along the border of Edom. Your southern boundary will start in the east from the southern end of the Dead Sea,cross south of Scorpion Pass, continue on to Zin and go south of Kadesh Barnea. Then it will go to Hazar Addar and over to Azmon,where it will turn, join the Wadi of Egypt and end at the Mediterranean Sea.“‘ Your western boundary will be the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This will be your boundary on the west.“‘ For your northern boundary, run a line from the Mediterranean Sea to Mount Horand from Mount Hor to Lebo Hamath. Then the boundary will go to Zedad,continue to Ziphron and end at Hazar Enan. This will be your boundary on the north.“‘ For your eastern boundary, run a line from Hazar Enan to Shepham.The boundary will go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Galilee.Then the boundary will go down along the Jordan and end at the Dead Sea.“‘ This will be your land, with its boundaries on every side.’”Moses commanded the Israelites:“ Assign this land by lot as an inheritance. On the mountain heights of Israel I will plant it; it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches. (niv)

Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things— the kings in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far as Lebanon( the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)— (niv)

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said,“ To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites,Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites,Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.” (niv)
