As the Lord commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua did it; he left nothing undone of all that the Lord commanded Moses.

The Lord had commanded his servant Moses to do all these things. Moses had passed that command on to Joshua. And Joshua carried it out. He did everything the Lord had commanded Moses.

Just as the Lord had commanded Moses his servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did. He left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.

As the Lord had commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua. And Joshua did as he was told, carefully obeying all the commands that the Lord had given to Moses.

惟當強乃心、壯乃志、悉守我僕摩西命爾之律、而遵行之、勿偏於左、勿偏於右、俾爾無論何往、靡不亨通、

我今所命、爾必守之、我將驅亞摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人於爾前、爾其慎之、所往之地、勿與其居民立約、恐為爾之坎阱、必毀其壇、碎其柱像、斫其木偶、

爾上帝耶和華既付於爾、為爾所擊、必殲滅之、勿與立約、勿加矜恤、

凡益爾者、我無所隱、或於眾前、或歷諸家、示爾教爾、

摩西召約書亞、於以色列眾前諭之曰、強乃志、壯乃心、爾必與民偕往、入耶和華誓賜其祖之地、使得為業、

蓋上帝之旨、我無隱諱、悉宣於爾、

上帝亦感猶大眾、使其一心、遵王與牧伯循耶和華言所命、○

凡我所諭爾者、爾必謹守遵行、毋增毋減、

我遵我上帝耶和華所命、教爾以典章律例、使行於入而為業之地、

我所諭爾之言、不可增、亦不可減、惟遵爾上帝耶和華之誡命、我所諭爾者、

爾何不聽耶和華言、急於刦奪、行耶和華所惡、掃羅曰、我實聽耶和華言、往所遣我之途、虜亞瑪力王亞甲、盡滅亞瑪力人、惟所獲當滅之牛羊、民取其嘉者、欲在吉甲、以祭爾上帝耶和華、撒母耳曰、耶和華豈喜燔祭及他祭、如喜聽其言乎、夫順服愈於祭祀、聽從愈於羊脂、

我立掃羅為王、今則悔之、以其背我、而不我從、亦不遵行我命、撒母耳怒、終夜籲耶和華、

以色列人循耶和華所諭摩西之命、而竣諸工、摩西觀諸工、悉遵耶和華命而作、乃為民祝嘏、

約書亞取斯諸邑與其王、刃擊其眾、而翦滅之、循耶和華僕摩西所命、

生擒亞瑪力王亞甲、以刃盡滅其民、掃羅與民惜亞甲、暨牛羊犢羔之嘉者、及諸美物、不盡滅之、惟陋劣者、則悉殲焉、○

撒母耳謂掃羅曰、昔耶和華遣我膏爾、立為其民以色列之王、今爾當聽耶和華言、萬軍之耶和華云、以色列族出埃及時、亞瑪力人若何待之、途間禦之、我記憶焉、今往擊之、滅其所有、毋加矜恤、男女、童穉、乳子、牛羊駝驢、悉殺戮之、○

禍哉、爾法利賽人乎、以爾於薄荷、芸香、及諸蔬、十輸其一、而於義、及向上帝之愛、則忽之、此乃爾所當行、而彼亦不可遺也、

禍哉、爾偽善之士子與法利賽人乎、以爾於薄荷、茴香、馬芹、十輸其一、而於律之尤重者、若義與慈與信、則遺之、此乃爾所當行、而彼亦不可遺也、
