Then Joshua said to them,“ Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! Be strong and brave, for the LORD will do the same thing to all your enemies you fight.

He delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him that he will deliver us yet again,

Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power.

David went on to say,“ The LORD who delivered me from the lion and the bear will also deliver me from the hand of this Philistine!” Then Saul said to David,“ Go! The LORD will be with you.”

the great judgments you saw, the signs and wonders, the strength and power by which he brought you out– thus the LORD your God will do to all the people you fear.

Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for the LORD your God is the one who is going with you. I also commanded Joshua at the same time,“ You have seen everything the LORD your God did to these two kings; he will do the same to all the kingdoms where you are going.Do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God will personally fight for you.”

No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message would be fully proclaimed for all the Gentiles to hear. And so I was delivered from the lion’s mouth!The Lord will deliver me from every evil deed and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever! Amen.

I will remember the works of the LORD. Yes, I will remember the amazing things you did long ago!
