耶和華既使以色列族敗亞摩哩人、約書亞即於以色列族前、禱耶和華曰、日勿運行於基遍、月必暫止於亞耶倫谷。

On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel:“ Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”

So the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel. On that day Joshua spoke to the Lord while the Israelites were listening. He said,“ Sun, stand still over Gibeon. And you, moon, stand still over the Valley of Aijalon.”

At that time Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel,“ Sun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”

On the day the Lord gave the Israelites victory over the Amorites, Joshua prayed to the Lord in front of all the people of Israel. He said,“ Let the sun stand still over Gibeon, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon.”

On the day the LORD gave the Amorites over to the Israelites, Joshua spoke to the LORD in the presence of Israel:“ Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”

Then Joshua spoke to the Lord on the day when the Lord turned the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel,“ Sun, stand still at Gibeon, And moon, at the Valley of Aijalon!”

Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel:“ Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”

Then spake Joshua to Jehovah in the day when Jehovah delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel; and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; And thou, Moon, in the valley of Aijalon.

On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to the Israelites, Joshua spoke to the Lord in the presence of Israel:“ Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”

Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

The day the LORD delivered the Amorites over to the Israelites, Joshua prayed to the LORD before Israel:“ O sun, stand still over Gibeon! O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon!”

Then Joshua spoke to Yahweh in the day when Yahweh delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. He said in the sight of Israel,“ Sun, stand still on Gibeon! You, moon, stop in the valley of Aijalon!”

Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear. (niv)

I will make the shadow cast by the sun go back the ten steps it has gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.’” So the sunlight went back the ten steps it had gone down. (niv)

Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end. (niv)

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. (niv)

He speaks to the sun and it does not shine; he seals off the light of the stars. (niv)

if I have regarded the sun in its radiance or the moon moving in splendor,so that my heart was secretly enticed and my hand offered them a kiss of homage, (niv)

The Lord will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim, he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon— to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task. (niv)

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. (niv)

Then Elon died and was buried in Aijalon in the land of Zebulun. (niv)

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. (niv)

And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars— all the heavenly array— do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven. (niv)

The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon. (niv)

and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars in the sky, (niv)

Be still before the Lord, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.” (niv)

“ In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord,“ I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight. (niv)

The Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him. (niv)
