我今日吩咐你的这些话都要记在心上，也要殷勤教导你的儿女。无论你坐在家里，走在路上，躺下，起来，都要吟诵。要系在手上作记号，戴在额上作经匣；又要写在你房屋的门框上和你的城门上。

有了我的命令而又遵守的人，就是爱我的；爱我的人，我父要爱他，我也要爱他，并且要亲自向他显现。”

耶稣却说：“更有福的是听上帝的道而遵守的人！”

所以你们要谨守这约的话，遵行它们，好使你们在一切所做的事上亨通。

“所以，凡听了我这些话又去做的，好比一个聪明人把房子盖在磐石上。

但是，你们要作行道的人，不要只作听道的人，自己欺骗自己。因为只听道而不行道的，就像人对着镜子观看自己本来的面目，注视后，就离开，立刻忘了自己的相貌如何。惟有查看那完美、使人自由的律法，并且时常遵守的，他不是听了就忘，而是切实行出来，这样的人在所行的事上必然蒙福。

不要忽略你所得的恩赐，就是从前藉着预言、在众长老按手的时候赐给你的。这些事你要殷勤去做，并要在这些事上专心，让众人看出你的长进来。要谨慎自己和自己的教导，要在这些事上恒心，因为这样做，既能救自己，又能救听你的人。

我未曾把你的公义藏在心里，我已陈明你的信实和你的救恩；在大会中我未曾隐瞒你的慈爱和信实。

那些洗净自己衣服的有福了！他们可得权柄到生命树那里，也能从门进城。
