“ Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying,‘ The Lord your God is giving you rest, and will give you this land.’

“ Remember the command that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you after he said,‘ The Lord your God will give you rest by giving you this land.’

“ Remember what Moses, the servant of the Lord, commanded you. He said,‘ The Lord your God is giving you this land. It’s a place where you can make your homes and live in peace and rest.’

“ Remember the word that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying,‘ The Lord your God is providing you a place of rest and will give you this land.’

“ Remember what Moses, the servant of the Lord, commanded you:‘ The Lord your God is giving you a place of rest. He has given you this land.’

“ Remember what Moses the LORD’s servant commanded you when he said,‘ The LORD your God will give you rest, and he will give you this land.’

“ Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying,‘ The Lord your God is giving you rest and is giving you this land.’

Remember the word which Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you, saying, Jehovah your God giveth you rest, and will give you this land.

“ Remember what Moses the Lord’s servant commanded you when he said,‘ The Lord your God will give you rest, and He will give you this land.’

Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.

“ Remember what Moses the LORD’s servant commanded you. The LORD your God is giving you a place to settle and is handing this land over to you.

“ Remember the word which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, saying,‘ Yahweh your God gives you rest, and will give you this land.

So Moses said to them,“ If you will do this, if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for the war,and all of you armed men cross over the Jordan before the Lord until He has driven His enemies out from Him,and the land is subdued before the Lord, then afterward you may return and be free of obligation toward the Lord and toward Israel, and this land shall be yours as property before the Lord.But if you do not do so, behold, you have sinned against the Lord, and be sure that your sin will find you out.Build yourselves cities for your little ones, and sheepfolds for your sheep, and do what you have promised.”Then the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying,“ Your servants will do just as my lord commands.Our little ones, our wives, our livestock, and all our cattle shall remain there in the cities of Gilead,while your servants, that is, everyone who is armed for war, cross over in the presence of the Lord to battle, just as my lord says.”So Moses gave the command regarding them to Eleazar the priest, to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers’ households of the tribes of the sons of Israel.

“ Then I commanded you at that time, saying,‘ The Lord your God has given you this land to possess it; all you valiant men shall cross over armed ahead of your brothers, the sons of Israel.However, your wives, your little ones, and your livestock( I know that you have much livestock) shall remain in your cities which I have given you,until the Lord gives rest to your fellow countrymen as to you, and they also take possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving them beyond the Jordan. Then you may return, each man to his possession which I have given you.’

Then Joshua summoned the Reubenites and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh,and said to them,“ You have kept all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, and have listened to my voice in all that I commanded you.You have not abandoned your brothers these many days to this day, but have fulfilled the obligation of the commandment of the Lord your God.And now the Lord your God has given rest to your brothers, as He spoke to them; therefore turn now and go to your tents, to the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan.
