“哥拉汛啊，你大祸临头了！伯赛大啊，你大祸临头了！我在你们当中所行的神迹，如果行在泰尔和西顿，那里的人早就身披麻衣，头蒙灰尘，坐在地上悔改了。

百姓啊，你们要身披麻布，在灰中打滚；你们要悲伤痛哭，如丧独子，因为毁灭者将突然临到我们。

祂说：“哥拉汛啊，你大祸临头了！伯赛大啊，你大祸临头了！我在你们当中所行的神迹，如果行在泰尔和西顿，那里的人早就身披麻衣，头蒙灰尘，悔改了。

因此我厌恶自己，在尘土和炉灰中忏悔。”

不要在迦特宣扬，也不要哭泣，要在伯·亚弗拉的灰尘中打滚。

君王啊，要慎思明辨！世上的统治者啊，要接受劝诫！要以敬畏的心事奉耶和华，要喜乐也要战战兢兢。要降服在祂儿子面前，免得祂发怒，你们便在罪恶中灭亡，因为祂的怒气将临。投靠祂的人有福了！

要谦卑，脸伏于地，或许还有希望。
