The Lord gave the fish a command. And it spit Jonah up onto dry land.

And the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.

Then the Lord ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach.

Then the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

Then Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.

And God said,“ Let there be light,” and there was light.

He replied,“ You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.The men were amazed and asked,“ What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

The centurion replied,“ Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst.

Then God said,“ Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.

So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so.

For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.

He spoke, and the locusts came, grasshoppers without number;

He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats throughout their country.

And God said,“ Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years,

And God said,“ Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.
